What kind of treats do you feed? Red has pretty frequent bouts of soft stool/diarrhea, which seemed to do better after I switched to Pro Plan Selects Salmon/Rice, but he still has episodes of it pretty frequently. I have done fecal checks and everything is negative, but I'm starting to think it has something to do with some of the training treats I use. Maybe they are too rich or just don't agree with him. Just something to think about.

Ah yes, snacks. Hot dogs can do that to some pups, if that's what you use for training. If you feed raw bones as a snack, too much marrow can make poops runny because it's so rich. Oddly enough, Milk Bone products have given our Tess some problems. Her breeder has had the same issue with her dogs and Milk Bones...not sure if that goes for all Dobes, or just this particular line.

Don't mean to add more variables to your equation here...just some thoughts on things that have problems in the past.
