 | Mensa - Cancer Update
Mensa saw the oncologist yesterday ( a mass taken off the top of her foot a ccouple weeks ago is malignant melanoma ).
They worked her over for about four hours.
X-rays and ultrasound showed no signs of the cancer spreading. Liver aspiration results should be back shortly, maybe today.
But so far, we're getting good news.
She has started a series of merial melanoma vaccinations.
We're seeing these folks ( Veterinary Cancer Group | Home ) in Orange County. When we go back in two weeks for her next injection, maybe we'll swing by Huntington Dog Beach. Cancer Group is close enough to the water to smell the ocean, and Mensa goes crazy when she smells the ocean. |
