Bo was diagnosed with oral melanoma late last December and had the Merial Cancer Vaccines at the same place as you are going but in Culver City instead of Orange County. He gets his last shot next week (the last one comes 6 months after the initial four) and he is still cancer free. I also did a lot of other things which I can talk to you about if you are interested (holistic supplements, no dog food, etc) and 9 months later at 15 years old he is GOING STRONG. The Veterinary Cancer Group is an amazing group of vets and I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome. I do suggest cooking for Mensa though.....that was the first thing the holistic vet suggested. PM me and we can chat. |

More good news. They just called to tell me that all the tests they did yesterday showed no cancer, at least not right now. We'll have to keep a good eye on this, but that's alot better than running around thinking everything's fine until it's too late.
Tomorrow she gets her stitches out, and maybe we'll lose the bandage on her foot. Then we'll go throw the Frisbee for a while. | |
