I bought her some real good joint meds-The vet was saying they prob wont help but I am doing it either way can't hurt. I am still concerned that it could be wobblers but the vet did not think it was at this point--I will look into the xrays and the posssibility of sending them out--Thanks for that piece of info!

Both Dillon and Lottie have been on Synoquin (glucosamine/chondroitin) for over 12 months (Lottie for HD and Dillon for arthritis of the spine) and the difference in both of them since taking the meds is amazing.

the vet who took the xrays should have sent them out to a specialist to read them to make sure it is arthritis. when one of my dogs was diagnosed the holistic vet sent the xrays to a specialist and he confirmed it was arthritis in the spine. we then started using a powder in his food called Jin Tangs Body Sore. its all chinese herbs, and you can only get it from a vet, its around $100 a jar . it helped my sonny quite a bit, plus i gave him Liquid Health 5000 for Dogs which is glucosomine .

Ditto DillonsMom. I started Cobra on glucosamine/chondroitin when her ACL blew. I decided it couldn't hurt Shelby either. The difference in Shelby, who at the time was almost 10, was significant.

Now all my dogs get it, from the age of 3 onward, or unless it appears needed earlier. My Amaris Girl has been on it since she was a year and a half old and knee issues began to surface.

Certainly worth giving a try!

That herbal remedy sounds very ineresting-I had a great holistic vet and she moved away-I miss her especially NOW!!! Her name was Dr. Apple --Thanks--I will be watching Candi and we have a follow up on thursday--Thansk to all for the info and kind words!!!
