| Feeding schedule Ok i know this is strange but im trying to find the best schedule for the pups. Im wondering what times you all feed then they have to go out. I know every one is different but im looking to get ideas. Mine seem to hold it about 9 hours and they a 5 months now. Does that seem right to everyone or am i missing something so to speak.

| I feed mine about 6:40am, let them out for a few minutes before work. My husband lets them out again about 8:30 or 9, then back in about 10:15 when he goes to work (Q crated). I get home about 6pm, let them out again and feed about 830PM after walks and excitement is over. So Q goes about 8 hours holding it each weekday.
Till he was about 5 months old, my Mother drove here every day between 2 and 4 pm and let him out.

| actually, sometimes I don't take my dobe out immediately after eating. he's really very good with potty now. so after the first wake-up potty at about 9am, I feed, but sometimes if I'm not going out and staying at home, I won't take him down for potty until about 1pm!
same goes for night time feeding. I usually have long walk/exercise before dinner(at about 9pm), so I won't take him out again until 11pm. |

| Mine get fed between 0430 and 0500 when DH gets up for PT. I leave the house shortly before 7. We have a doggie door so they go out whenever they please. While Kade was being crated I would come home from work at lunch time to let her out.
They have 'dinner' at 5 pm as soon as I get home from work.

| Mine eat at about 10am and 10pm. We usually have some kind of training at night and sometimes dont get home until about 9 or 9:30. So that gives them about an hour to settle before they eat dinner. I let them out about 1/2 hour after they eat. Brownie goes out about once an hour unless he is asleep. (He has been asleep on my feet for the last hour at least....) So he will go out when he wakes up.

| I started at once a day at five months and Nyx maintained her weight fine. She eats raw and two raw meals a day were to small and uninteresting for her. I sometimes toss her a small snack in the mornings if I have some bits left over from the previous nights meal or from the cats raw.
I also do not feed on a schedule. They get their food whenever I feel like dishing it up. |

| | Alpha | Since our babies our close in age thought I would add my schedule although as you know I am no expert!! ha ha.
Jager wakes up anytime between 6 and 7...he normally just plays but his playing is not quiet so we get up when I can't take the squeeking anymore...he he he. We always go potty first. He waits in the mudroom while I get his breakfast...he eats. Lately, he has been going back to bed so he goes back out when he gets his lazy butt out of bed again...between 9 and 10. In the spring when I was interning...I would dress and then take him out again before I left. I would get home around noon to let him out again. Jager now tells me when he has to go out.
We have dinner anytime between 5 and 7....I wish I had a set dinner time but I can't tell the university to schedule my classes around Jager unfortunately. This fall will be very hard as one night my class is 7-10 at night and the other night it is 4-7 so he will be completely out of whack!!!
I did read in one of my puppy books that it is not good to have a "set" time as they begin to anticipate your return and dinner time....if you are late they may get a little worked up so to speak.
He normally has two potty trips before sleepy time which sleepy time happens around 10ish or so...depending on what is on tv he he he!!!
From what I understand, your puppies should adjust to your schedule (at least that is what the puppy book states). |

| Mine all get let out at 5:20, fed at 5:30 am and let out again. I leave for work about 6:10 at which point Barons crated until gf gets up then they're out for an hour until she goes to work. Two of them are crated from 8:00 until 4:00 or 5:00 when I get home. Then Baron is fed twice more through the evening. |
