What you're feeding already is perfect, I'm assuming you feed eggs as well... |

| | Alpha | No, but every time I see one I say "Look FiFi, raw meaty bones" - and I mean Llama, as we don't see many kangaroos here in WA, lol. I do know that people in Australia feed kangaroo to their dogs though.

| I fed beef, chicken, duck, goat, mutton, rabbit, pheasant, salmon, turkey, elk & buffalo. Also alot of beef tripe. The only thing that I didn't feed often was pork, I don't know why....I am just not a big fan
Never had a problem with any of them. I also fed alot of whole cornish game hens, for some reason my dogs LOVED those.

| Thanks for the warning. I'm not really a fan of pork myself so I can understand any adverse reactions to it, haha. Thanks again |

| | Alpha | I feed pork a couple of times a week with no problems. Now I did/do introduce ANY meat with just a little at a time, adding just a little to a regular meal and slowly increasing it. Some cuts of pork are pretty fatty, so maybe that caused the cannon butt....

| When feeding Lucius (6 month old) puppy something like chicken quarters, it's taking him close to 30 minutes to finish...Is this normal?!?
Suri finishes in about 8-10 minutes. |

| DG...that is great that it is taking him a long time to eat....sounds like he is chewing well and enjoying his meal! Much better then having a gulper!

| Thanks Carol,
It just seems like it's take him FOREVER to get. He'll lay there and chew and chew. He's drags the meat all over my kitchen! Does Petey do this?
My biggest problem with RAW is how to weigh the meat?!? How do you guys do this? |
