D&H, do you give it to Aubrey-doo, too? Cali's coat and muscle tone are fantastic, but I'm thinking of trying Hogan on this.

My husband, is going, to kill me. <sigh> Guess I'll need to pick up a second job! Do they have some sort of payment plan program? That's $33/month for that, $30 in food, and $7 in seameal. Plus his bone costs, agility lessons, gas money...lord almighty. Dogs are NOT a cheap hobby if done right!

Aubrey-doo gets their "Young at Heart" supplement, and their joint one as well. She's always had a gorgeous coat and great musculature, so I am really just trying to maintain what she has.

Alrighty, ordered a month's worth. No really, I need to pick up a second job to support my dog. I really wish he was smaller sometimes. I mean, if I was a min pin person I could afford to feed/supplement a whole herd of dogs instead of one doberbutt!

Chaos, do you find that the kelp helps a lot? Do you use it to darken only or is it for something else? Thyroid support?

I ask myself all the time "why am I so broke?". I'm feeding 4 dogs over 40 pounds. Between food, supplements, training treats, and everyday treats, I am going over $400/month.
Right now there's the expense of showing Reggie too. Thank God I love Taco Bell, I can get $3 worth of beans and cheese and be full all day!

A 15 pound bucket can last an 80-90 pound dog about 3 months. It is really worth the money.
It's great stuff and so is their other product the k9 Superfuel.

my dober kane has on/off skin and coat issues. right now hes 'changing over' for winter and hes shedding out alot.hes just slightly sparce right now and growing in. he does have allergies though wich doesnt help.

i only bathe kane every 5 months due to it dries him out if its more frequent.unless he gets into something and i have no choice.

fish oil, vitamin e, and adding a bit of raw food to his diet helps his coat.

I have also started him on K9 Show Stopper. Any ideas or suggestions? I really hate using antibiotics if I can do something naturally.
I had a similar problem with this...I was working for a vet at the time..we did antibiotics, skin scrapes..the whole 9 yards, yes even medicated baths..finally did a skin biopsy out of frustration.
I owned a sharPai way back in the day and remembered what simlpy worked well for him...dont laugh until you try it..."Head & Shoulders shampoo for sensitive scalp"

After a few shampoo's the dry flakes went away the itching stopped and his coat came back perfectly! Just make sure you really rinse the shampoo after a 10 soak/scrub and also put lube in they eyes as you dont want burning eyes.

My vet still uses this shampoo to this day on those "what else can we try " skin conditions.

I so hope this works for you as well as it did for me (and his brother who went through it after he did)

WE have been looking at some joint supplements for Q, he seems stiff in the legs when he gets up and he is only 18 months on Oct 11. What is the name of this joint supplement and where do you buy it? Is is show stopper? Did you give it just to be safe or did you notice a problem first? Have you seen improvment with it? Don't mean to hog the thread but I would really like to get him something that is recommended by one of you great DT folks.
