| Sneezing Dobes Hey Everyone
Rainah has been sneezing off and on for about a day now. Is this something I should be concerned about? I heard dogs can get a cold just like humans - that true?
I'd appreciate any input... of course if it persists I will be calling my vet...
Thanks! |

| I can't answer your question but I can say Q's sneezes about 5 or 6 times a week (usually on me, lol). I'm sure some others who know more will jump in shortly. |

| Java sneezes when there is a lot of pollen in the air. Actually gets a 'sniffle', but a quick nose dab w/ a Kellenex and that seems to be the end of it. |

| Kade sneezes ALOT after she gets done wrestling with our GSD. I mentioned it to the vet but there's nothing wrong showing.
It sounds weird but I think she just gets irritated by the dander from our other dog.

| Dogs do not get "colds" like humans.
We can't pass it back and forth, in other words--different viruses.
They can and do get respiratory infections and viruses, but often the culprit is allergies, like was already mentioned.
Ezra sneezes once or twice a day (yeah, usually in my face) in the Spring and Fall. Haven't had him ELISA tested, but it's probably mild allergies as it hasn't really caused any problems.
