tranquility's post on long age and diet got me thinking...

what about kibble and teeth? for those of you who feed kibble especially to those over 10+ years, how were/are your dobe's teeth? did you have to go to the vet regularly to get them scrapped? if not, did you give nylabones, raw meaty bones, etc?

I have always moistened the kibble and brush my dogs teeth. They also get bully sticks. Never had any issues with teeth.

I've always fed kibble (Pro Plan Chicken and Rice) and I've never had any issues with teeth. They have always chewed on nylabones and such and I do an occassional tooth brushing when needed as they get older.
