RedDobieCHAMP will become famous soon enough
Sick Pup / Injured leg

My mom took Champ to her house for a little while today, when she brought him home we both noticed he was limping. He's holding up his rear leg and limping on it and sitting funny, and doing to toe tap thing.

Then he wouldnt eat, Champ is 6 months old and this is first time he hasnt been interested in food. Then he puked a few times and is drooling alot.

Anyone have any idea what is going on? I'm assuming the leg and stomach sickness must be related? He's acting real lethargic.

No chance he got hit by a car or fell severely, internal/external injuries?? I can see where pain might decrease his appetite, but I don't know about puking.

Yikes, I really think you need to take Champ to the Vets. Extreme Pain could be the cause of his other symptoms. The leg injury sounds so much like a stifle injury but of course only a Vet visit will tell you that for sure.

Jager and I will be thinking of you! Silly thought...any poisonous bugs in your area? We have some pretty vicious spiders around here that I have to keep an eye out for.

Vet couldnt find anything, other than obvious lathargy and he wont put weight on injured foot.

They took x rays and I'm going to pick him up now.

Did you notice any swelling in his leg? Maybe he just had a soft tissue injury.. that happened to Cinny last week. She was limping and tri-podding. I immediately thought she must've torn a ligament or something but the vet said to just keep her from running/stairs and watch her. She seems fine this week.

Maybe his pain was making him appear lethargic.
