| | Alpha | Can we say lucky?? So I have been dealing with loose stools for about two weeks now...trips to the vet, phone calls, and of course asking for advice here (that has been wonderful, thank-you).
So once getting his stools solid yesterday (after nights of no sleep)...Jager just wasn't himself..depressed, slept all day, didn't even look at his toys. I was getting ready to take him back to the vet today as the vet said to wait it out.
Well this morning, we go out for potty and sorry not to be gross one of his poops looks awfully flat.....He ate a rock the size of a quarter maybe a little bigger!!!! Right now he is zooming all over the place!! We just built, so rocks are everywhere and I try to clean out his area in the yard but like today I threw seven rocks out!
I am so lucky it didn't cause a blockage. He didn't vomit and ate like a champ heck he would have eaten all of the hamburger I cooked yesterday if I would have let him!
Ug, so the rock battle continues.... |

| If it makes you feel any better my Mom's pit mix eats rocks all the time (she has the dog equivalent of pica) and stopping her every time is not possible. 15 years old and still going strong. I would try and get him interested in something besides rocks to divert him, say a toy or treats. Talk with your instructor maybe one can offer a suggestion. |

| Lexx likes to chew on the small rocks from the patio, but always seems to spit them out, luckily. However, downs on grass? HELP ME!
down, no grass, up, down, no grass, up... we could make a song together!
