P.S. all these quotes weren't to argue w/you- I happened to put them up at the same time- wanting to get those attn. who are interested in them. |

| faber, i respect the fact you are anti-neuter.its good to have 2 sides to a coin, when deciding about our pets health.
i have an issue with the very thing,im preaching about. my female gsd is in heat and i have an intact male mix. im trying to seporate them during her cycle. its NOT fun,the howling doesnt stop, and i may not have doors left.she went in before i could get her fixed.vet was backed up,and i had the first available vet appt for neuter, wich is in september, and she went in sooner than i thought.im NOT perfect.
what would you do? in this perdicament, faber? allow them to go natural?

He was intact- the issue was resolved by nuetoring- and he lived. According to the article- any issues that are arized in intact dogs can usually be resolve easily w/surgery. ---where as nutered dogs health issues stats. rise signifigintly and are not as easy to resolve-

I just want to make people see #'s not just hear the usuall regurgitation of advice. It's hard to go against the grain- I may nuetor my dog - again I have to work w/my breeders on that and respect their decisions and hard work- as anything that happens w/his lineage is completely up to them. - as for the shelter animals- I agree 100%- again I DID NOT say I'm non-nuetor- But I do want the facts for the health risks to my dog- because he is my responsiblity and so is his long term health. --In the beginning of the other article I mentioned- their first words were to the effect that it only focuses on overall pet health, by assumed RESPONSIBLE pet owners. Not taking into account animals in kennels. Again I agree w/ you 100%- But that isn't gonna stop me from considering and sharing facts/statistics w/others and for myself to consider in the overall health of OUR dogs.... our responsiblities.

Sorry for your issue. | i typically dont have this problem faber.i ussually have them neutered by now. i had some medical issues that drained us. i got beep as a pup before that happened,i didnt know i'd allmost die last year.i also cant help im in hickville and my vets backed up.im ussually smack on with this.its usually done.im seporating them as best i can,and i will take the fall,if i fail at this.
as for the anti-neuter comment. you came across that way to me.if i missconstrued,i apologise. i agree with all choices are made educated, and i welcome your 'statistical advise' approach.its good to be open and educated about things.im sorry if i misread you.

| | Alpha | God Bless- and I surely didn't mean to judge- I only awnsered your quest. I hope you are doing better and things go well for you.- I can certainly understand how all that would create your situation. Also, as you mentioned earlier- I to am not perfect. Thank you for understanding my wanting to get #'s out, that means allot. |
