| | Alpha | For Red Dobe owners - Fish Oil Just in case anyone has not heard or is unaware, fish oil is excellent for any dobe but especially for the red and blue varieties that are more prone to skin issues. I always had issue with flakiness on my boy's red coat until I started dropping a fish oil caplet into his meals. That all changed within a week or two. Just a little tidbit while I'm thinking of it, although I am sure most already know or are already doing it.

| I agree with you. I had mine on Grizzly Salmon oil, and decided to try Missing Link. Well they've been on Missing Link awhile, but I'm not totally happy with the results, so as soon as we run out of this bag it's back to the salmon oil. I may get some caplets though. What kind do you use if you don't mind me asking? |

| I tried salmon oil on the food and Red wouldn't hardly touch it. Plus the smell stunk up my whole house and made me want to gag.
So I started giving 3V HP Snip Tip caps instead, and I like them much better |

| I use the capsules also. Rommel thinks they are candy, he loves crunching them between his teeth.
I buy the Fish Body Oil capsules from GNC, and also 400iu of Vitamin E.
I was giving 2000mg of fish oil and 400iu of vitamin E per day. I just throw the capsules in the food.
Right now.....they aren't getting it, I am doing food only for a few months just to see how they do, but I am sure I will go back to the fish oil caps.

| I use Omega 3-6-9 gel caps from Costco. It is marine fish oil, borange oil, and flax oil. I drop one in with their kibble at each meal and they gobble it up. No dry skin, and a nice healthy coat.

| I used to use Fish oil.. his coat did very well.
Though we have switched to using a supplement called Showstopper, that not only has made his coat as shiny as fish oil, but fuller as well. |
