Wound Or Hot Spot

my pup has some kind of wound on her thigh. it itches and she sometimes cries when she licks .. i had her checked at the vet and says its a hot spot. they gave me an anit-fungal shampoo and im treating her now.
im so worried coz i can really feel it itches everytime she licks and bite on it.

do you guys experience these on your beloved pups? what did you do, what did you apply on its wound.

I would try to keep her mouth off of it and even use a e-collar for a few days.

I recommend calling your vet to let him/her know that your dog is still itchy.
The more the dog scratches/licks at a hot spot, the worse it will get. Often dogs are put on an oral antibiotic and treated w/ topical and/or systemic steriod anti-inflammatory to decrease the intense itchiness.
