Luckys Sick

I am not sure what is buggin his tummy, but none the less it worries me.

Here is what has happened, starting saturday, he ate as normal, then my daughter gives him eggs with cheese. As the day goes on he gets nerds from her dropping a few here and there on the floor. Then my dad comes over and gives him a dog biscuit shaped as a doughnut. We were outside all day withhim, he watched us clean the cars and didnt even seemed the least interested in any of the kids running around. Late that night, I feel asleep on the couch and the men of the house were watching a movie, I hear them saying Lucky did u fart, I open my eyes to see luck coming down the stairs and lays down. They look into the kitchen and see he has had diarrhea all over the floor. Then in the a.m. we come down and find even more all over the floor. I give him rice/pumpkin then for breakfast, he doesnt go again until the evening, out on a walk he does 1 pile of diarrhea. I gave him a bit more pumpkin. Come down in the am nothin, but he did pee all over ( I find that odd he never really does a full pee in the house), feed him a lil kibble and then in the evening again a lil more dirrhea (not like the first 2 times) and now nothin.
I gave him rice and chicken breast this morning and a lil right now and he still hasnt went yet. He has energy, but not like normal. I was thinking then too on friday morning i let him out and about a half an hour earlier the grass people came and sprayed the grass. I wonder if he ate some grass.

I know something is bothering him, but he is not throwing up and he still has energy, no fever either. Do ya'll think he caught a bug, or just got tummy upset from the lil one feeding him everything under the moon?

Upset tummy from too many goodies. When a dog gets the 'runs' sometimes it is best to fast them for a day, then slowly introduce their food back. But always keep fresh water available.
Just keep observing him as you are, take notes of any changes, good or bad. then if a Vet visit is in order you will have all the info. recorded to help the Vet make his diagnosis. good luck with your guy.

Yeah, i know how your feel!
the diahrreah pile find SUCKS!

But give him a few days. Sometimes i takes a few days for them to feel better

I've found canned pumpkin works well, along with rice.
But really, I think dogs can get the stomach flu, just like people, so don't panic yet

When I first got Saphire she was really picky about her food so as a treat as much as all my knowledge told me not to i bought her kibbles and bits to see if i could entice her.
Well Boy did i get it for that, the next morning, she was standing in front of me and 2 seconds later my foot was covered in Kibbles and Bits and saliva..I learned my lesson quick.

Also like DLS said fast him for 24 hours then you can try on boiled white rice and lean ground beef. Even anorexic dogs will eat that mixture, just be sure to drain fat off of meat

King has diarrhea very often too. The best thing that works for me is, fasting him 24 hours and giving him cooked chicken with rice after that.

What did the grass guys spray on the grass?? Is it a chemical that is intended to keep animals off for a certain period of time, i.e. 2hrs.??
My two get diarrhea easily when they get into something not on their diet, ie candy, ect. It should regulate itself within 2 to 3 days, but if no improvement I think a trip to the vet is in order. Better to be safe than sorry.

I believe it was only a fertilizer, it just said to keep off until dry. I am gonna have to research that more, for the next time they are out.
