Omega 3,6,9 question

I have a question, can I give my 5 month puppy omega 3,6,9 with Vit E ? the ones I have are 1,000mg for the facts it says Pure Fish Oil 2000 mg, EPA 360 mg, DHA 240 mg , Vit E 2 IU 6% daily. I hope some one can help me put with this. also should I give it to her daily or once a week.

im not an expert so dont take my word for it, but when i researched this i got the impression that the ratio of omega 3 : 6 is whats important. i believe it was somewhere in the 5:1 area but im not sure which one is which. you should probably look at whatever food you are feeding and find the ratio and then decide what supplementation is needed if any. i think a bad ratio can lead to long term joint problems etc... can anyone help clarify this? im kind of wondering myself!

ok I did a google search and after sometime I found this useful information hope it helps, but I still need to know if I should feed her a soft gel a day or a week.

I feed my dogs fish oil capsules every day...but they are older. I think I waited to supplement until they were 6 months old.
