| Rudy's MCL injury Rudy will have to be on meds for an extended period of time according to my vet. His MCL is still swollen. Thank the Lord he doesn't have to have surgery. Attached is a pic of him resting tonight.
Sincerely,
Scoob |

| Thank goodness for no surgery but tough work to keep him in rest mode once it starts to heal! I see you have plenty of chews around for entertainment LOL!

| Hang in there, Rudy, and you'll be romping and playing soon! Poor guy must be getting sick of the rest program. |

| Scoob -- thanks for the update. Keeping him "calm and sedate" is most likely a challenge, but worth it in the long run!
Keep up the good work!!!

| Jim if you want Rudy to get well as quickly as he can you must simply stop all running outside and keep him in his crate as much as possible. His appetite will go down because he is not using as much energy as normal, so feed him less.
I am talking from experience with Pano not the MCL injury Rudy has, but Parker was very, very slow to recover till I finally gave up and kept him leased all the time outside and in his kennel one heck of a lot of time. Then he began to get well much faster as ge was pretty much at a standstill with no improvement for about two weeks. Also had to have him on Rimadyl for pain and inflamation. That was another thing I put off that I shouldn't have. |
