I am worried about Gladys's tail. It was docked by a local vet's office when she was 2 days old. She is now 9 months old and her tail is extremely short and has lost most of its hair. Over the last couple of weeks, she has found it very uncomfortable to sit.

Not only is it uncomfortable for her, it is funky looking.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what we should do?

Take her to the vet or another vet if you do not feel that one is working out for you. She may have a bone fragment that is causing discomfort or there may be an infection. It's best to get a vet to look and decide what to do from there.

Yeah...I'd take her to the vet for a check up. It could be an anal gland problem also causing her to not want to sit down.
