| Help Me!!! I posted a question about Obie earlier about bumps over his eye, i think it's a histiocytoma. But now things have been worse.
This morning he wasn't breathing properly, shallow, and sounded hoarse as if he was trying to cough but couldnt. I brought him to the vet and they said it could be pneumonia, a bacterial lung infection or an allergic reaction from what they saw in chest x-rays. He is on antibiotics at the vet's right now and is breathing a little better. His oxygen was at 75% and heart rate was high.
Has anyone had this happen before? What could cause this? |

| He is doing better, the vet said it was a lung infection and said it could be from inhaling something like food or dirt. He's on more antibiotics, resting and eating well. Still coughs a bit when he's been active. Hopefully should clear up in a few more days. Thanks. |

| Let us know what the Vet says. It could be Heart related or i had a Dober girl years ago who had repeated episodes of pneumonia. It turned out she had some very rotten molars at the back of her mouth. when we removed the abscessed teeth she had no more pneumonia . |

| Obie is recovered, done his antibiotics and it was a infection due to him inhaling something. Surprised me that he didn't lose any weight, he gained another 5 pounds in a week! |
