| Milky 'stuff' coming out of his one eye .. It's been happening over the past few days -- and think/thought (?) it could be seasonally allergy related?
It's only in his one eye - he wakes up with this yucky crusty eye, and I'd like to call it 'sleep' stuck to his eye, but it's thick ... Before I take him to the vet, is this common? Or have you heard of this?
His eye doesn't seem inflamed, or bothered, and once i wipe it away in the morning, it's pretty much gone for the day. |

| eye "gobbers" are very common, just wipe them out, and as long has his eyes look normal don't worry. I had read an explanation for this, don't remember what it was but I had the same concern at one time.

| Eye 'goobers' seem to be a Dobie thing. But it sounds like your dogs are more than just goobers. Keep a close 'eye' on it, if the discharge worsens or changes color you may want your Vet to take a look, just to rule out an infection. Compare both eyes, is the whites of one redder than the other, does the one eye 'water' more, any other symptoms? |
