I just discovered Dogs are allowed in Lowe's and Atwood's just as long as they are behaved. I take Sampson in Atwood's and let him pick-out his own pig ear. He loves it! Plus, he gets extra attention from the check-out ladies!
In Lowe's, he knows its more of a business trip and becomes all serious and to the point.
Check in your city to see if dogs are allowed in the store with you.
Thank you, I went to Lowes the other day and almost took Quentin with me but I was scared they may make take him to the car. I will call and check with them. Tractor Supply has let me bring him in before.

I think it must vary by the store's district. The Lowes by us has a sign that says they permit service dogs only. We did bring our dogs in once or twice (when they were puppies) and no one said anything, but it isn't something I plan on continuing to do.
