Western Vet in Calgary??
A missed cell phone message from my vet clinic the night we took Syd to the CARE center, they said they had called CARE and they did not have transfusions available, but that Western Vet did.
Why have I lived in Calgary for 20 plus years and never heard of them? Does anyone know of them or been there???

Western is pretty good, albeit expensive from what I recall hearing. The clinic I worked for in Calgary would refer to the CARE Centre 90% of the time, but Western was definitely the second choice.

I used to work at Western. It was pretty good. I liked it. They have some amazing doctors there. I have friends that work at the CARE centre, and they like it there too. I think either place would always have your pet's best interest at heart.
