| I like Greenhawk's, cheap prices and well made. They also have several different styles and colours. They also have stores throughout Canada. Shedrow 420d Dog Blanket [BLS1590] Shedrow Traditional Plaid Dog Blanket [BLS1591] |

| Where are you in Canada? I got a fleece coat suitable for fall and a raincoat, both made by Royal Canin, at a Paulmac's Pet Store (in Hamilton ON). If you know someone who sews, I made the heavy one in the picture, using her fleece coat as a pattern that I enlarged to cover hips and shoulders. It is denim, with fleece lining and quilt batting in between. It fastens with velcro. I knit the cowl, which pulls up over her ears. |

| If you want the high quality and reasonable priced coats plus free delivery to Canada
look at Hurtta products: http://www.eurodogdesigns.com/Warm-W...Coat_p_33.html
I bought rain and winter coats from Katja and very pleased with.
You may check my dogs pictures modeling Hurtta coats here: Gino and Asha are modeling coats from Hurtta
...and rain coats in action Hurtta rain coats in action - Gino and Asha love them!
I hope it helps
Added: Chilly Dogs products are great too but they are pricey. I would not recommend velcro on a dog coat. It doesn't work for active dogs.

| Vader got a coat called Double Diamond. The tag says they are in Canada. RC Pet Products | Canine Equipment | Canine Friendly Products. The vecro around the chest actually closes. Although we don't have snow here it kept him warm this past weekend while hiking in northern az.
Eta his is size 30.

| I get my boy's (and girl's) coats from Gear4Dogs which sell the RCPets Products, as mod Jenny recommended. They avg. about $30. They are in BC, Vancouver and also ship to US by USPS Priority mail. I get the items in Texas in 2 days! I don't personally like the jackets that cover the dogs legs as recommended by other DT members, just the core, which allows unrestricted movement. I also use these jackets at the dog park in the winter months with good results and they help me keep track of them. Many multiple DT Dobe owners will talk down Velcro attachments, but they work for me! Spock & Lillah in RC West Coast Rain Jackets Spock in RC Double Fleece $11 Coat |

| Winter coats and rain slickers I keep on trying to find ones that will fit him... If it fits Loki's chest it is usually way to long! I actually had my pet store order me one specifically measured, and I think they ordered it in inches not centimetres: it is MASSIVE! Like Newfie size, not Dobie. | Bsisco, you made that coat....Amazing!!
I second Greenhawk.
We have a winter dog coat that has lasted almost 10 years.
I can't believe it myself.
Garth wore it, now Zachary wears it.
they are fashioned after horse coats, and are super durable!!
About $30. |

| Another vote for Clauda and Cozy Horse! Ivan has the Winter Warrior dog coat with fold up collar. He's a very active dog and even though the belly straps are velcro, it's held up racing through the woods, wrestling with other dogs, etc. I didn't want exposed fleece because of burs etc., which some coats use around the neck. I was able also to customize this so it was exactly what I wanted - orange for SAR and reflective.
I looked at Hurtta coats, but they weren't sized to fit Ivan. It was actually suggested I could buy the coat and then alter it. Um, not when I'm paying that kind of money. It better fit right from the get go.
I also looked at Ruff Wear coats. If you want protection (snow/rain/wind) and durability (jaggers/burs), they really don't have one coat that does both.
