| need a special home for a 7 month old pup black tan girl. She is uncropped and has some issue as she has neurological damage (light, in the fact that she got dropped at a very young age) my first time in 30 yrs of breeding. She is VERY affectionate girl but as a tendency to spun around when excited. She loves people and doing things very busy girl.
She definetely now needs her own home and honestly very few people have seen that she is different ...she sometimes will crook her neck more than a normal pup also..but it make her look cute...all other vital signs are normal..if you think you know someone or you could provide a good home for her let me know please

| he had warned us that he doesnt recommend any use of a collar on her just in case but a harnest would be much better. But she has defied all the odds as at the beginning after the accident he tought she would not walk properly, right now she not only walks she runs like the wind. She just looses her balance easier than a normal dog. He says if she has a normal home she could live as long as any normal dog (last visit)
And with all the love she has to give she deserves to be loved and she will love anyone back..she is so sweet |

Francoise | Hi Francoise
Did the neurologist check her hearing at all ? I am sure they probably did but the symptoms are the same on a Ding. That was the first thing that came to my mind when I read her symptoms. They spin in circles, lose their balance easily and cock their heads allot and they are very high energy b/c their world is place were things are always a little off balance. Although most will live wonderful lives with a loving owner they are a lot to raise so they need a owner with a great deal of patience. |

But others like myself believe it to be an inherited condition in the breed, that will crop it's head up every now and then with certain pedigree combinations. Although a few people have had success with the treatment I don't no of any personally that were cured. It has been around for a very long time. I don't want to go against any copyright issue's so here is a link for you get some information. If you google it too a lot of information will come up. congenital deafness and vestibular disease |

| I know someone that owns a bitch that has vestibular disease. Although she is deaf, and she does circle at times, she is sweet and loving. She's a wonderful pet.

She's a wonderful pet. | All the need is a really good owner with a great deal of patience and understanding. My mom adopted one, God what seems like a lifetime ago from a breeder. Wonderful dog but you had to be patient with him. He hated car rides b/c of the ear problem the ride made his balance off even more. His vet, a neurologist, showed us during a visit to let him spin and lift him while he is spinning on the table to be examed the spinning is all part of how he balanced himself. Amazing to learn and watch. Just had to watch your knees when his spins caught some speed. LOL
