Foxy's Dobes in Illinois?

Wondering if anyone has had any experience with Jaqueline Schilling as a breeder, she has a litter available in early January. Seems like a legitimate breeder, is listed in the DPCA as a breeder of merit, but I have not read anything about her or her program here on the forum. That in itself makes me weary, over the past couple months I have come to trust and respect the people on this forum very much, I have recieved great contacts and referrals and learned more about the breed than I ever thought I would in such a short amount of time! Thanks everyone

I've talked to her before, met her at a couple of shows. Nice dogs!

Not seeing anything on her website about health testing or contracts. I would be sure to ask those questions when you chat with her. I may have missed it though, her site is a tad difficult to navigate! Looks like you may have found a good one though, I'd just do some more research!

I trust jacqueline

I co-own my 1yr old doberman w/her! We have a contract and she does all the health testing! She is a very smart person when it comes to the breed! Shes very helpful and knows what she is talking about! She comes on strong but she has been in the game for along time! She is definitely in it for the dogs! She is an all around good person!

I know this thread is years old. Just in case anyone is currently wondering about Jackie at Foxy's Dobermans, I wanted to share my experience.
I contacted her about a Doberman puppy and she returned my call and emails almost immediately. Before you purchase a puppy she will require that you have a fenced-in yard and a home visit. IMHO 2 great signs.
She didn't have a black male that I was looking for at the time, so I didn't go any further.

I purchased a pup elsewhere. I was having a hard time finding a vet to re-tape his ears. Something I never thought I'd have an issue with. I just assumed all vets did it and knew what they're doing. I called Jackie and left her a voicemail. She called back within a few minutes again. She recommended a vet. How great is that? Not her pup, nothing for her to gain yet she still took the time and the vet did an awesome job was very knowledgeable about Dobe's ears.

Yes I know I can re-tape myself but I don't feel comfortable taking the chance of bad looking ears down the line.

Anyway A+ for Jackie
