Question about bloodlines - Doberman Forum : Doberman Breed Dog Forums

Ive been talking to this girl about dobermans. She said her dobie has over 200 champions in the bloodline. She hasnt sent the paperwork in or requested a pedigree supposidly the guy showed her pedigrees with highlighted champions on the sires side. I looked at her AKC application and the sire who supposidly has over 200 champions in his bloodline is from the WZ bloodline (albino) show breeders to my understanding wont breed or show from this line or is that incorrect. Because i think the guy fed her a line of BS

Good breeders won't breed to a dog that has a WZ. If you know the sire's registered name it would be easy to look up.

Thats what i thought. I think he gave her a line. The sires AKC number is wz00714507 Dam is ws31343803. sires name is Sir andre cathcart and dam is princess reyna. I was trying to help her find out information on her bloodline because that just didnt see correct any show breeders would breed from a albino bloodline. So if anyone knows of any common health problems with the lines im sure she would like to know her dog is like i think 18 months.

I just checked dobequest and there is no record that I can find.

Even if you went back to the Great Great Great Great Great Great Grandparents you would only have 254 dogs listed. What do you think the chances of them all being champions are?

I think my math is correct.

Thats what i thought and told her. But supposidly he had pedigrees he showed her. So i doubt those werent pedigrees for her dogs if that was true

Since her bloodline is not showing up anywhere there probably no way of seeing what kinda health conditions factor into that bloodline

What i found by typing in registration numbers online is that her dogs bloodline is like 50% black/tan 25% red and the other 25% being split into blue and albino. maybe im wrong tho.

I don't know what kind of pedigrees he's showing her but I highly doubt they're akc certified. He might have gotten a blank pedigree and filled it in himself.

I have a feeling he's just another byb with a line of bs. I would love to see those pedigrees he showing her.

You cannot show an albino in the confo ring so any dogs that are albinos in the pedigree are not champions. And there have been few blue or fawn champions over the years compared to the number of blacks or reds.

thanks for the info i let her know that it was confirmed that it is highly unlikely her dog can from champion anything.

Probably showed her some Puppy Mill Registry pedigree where you can buy a championship title or do an "online" or through the mail dog show. :/

I would not buy a dog who was produced by a shady person and a dam with the name "Princess Reyna"... It doesn't sound like a reputable kennel at all. *DING DING DING* Danger! Will Robinson!

How could she fathom her dog has that many champions in her lines?

Although I can't say not having papers qualifies for not having great lines.
My boy has no papers. Not on the map at all...

I guess supposidly the guy showed her pedigrees. I have no idea. I done told her what everyone confirmed here its highly unlikely. She did however show me a litter something paper that looked almost as a mini pedigree. I saw no dogs on there that were champions or had any names from any kennels. More less just names like princess reyna. There is no kennel name just the breeders name. I even tried searching up the breeder information since he moved supposidly she said and i cannot even locate him. She bought her as a adult so i guess she should just be happy to have a pet at this point and just forget what he said about the good champion bloodlines lol
