| I think it is really really important that people become educated themselves on things to look for. Check out this thread about reputable breeders and then take another look at this kennel. What do you think? Reputable breeders - for new folks |

| Well, I'd sure like to see more health testing. Only one dog has holter testing listed, and I didn't see anything other than vWD and the DCM genetic test for any of the others. No mention of thyroid testing on any of them.
I'd also like to see more titles. They say the have "the best" Euro bred dogs, but don't seem to have either the show or working titles to back up that claim.

| Thank you guys for your help and information. I have done a lot more research and e-mailed a few breeders including Carosel in central FL but I haven't received any answers. |

| Well, what would you like in a Doberman? Are you looking for show, work, sport or just a pet? Maybe some of the folks here can give a recommendation. |

| It looks like all they have done is buy 2 male litter mates out of Zedor Del Nasi.
Now they will breed them and ride off of the Del Nasi name doing nothing for themselves. Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

| Stay Away! Please do yourself a huge favor and avoid this "breeder." Dealing with them is a nightmare that might make you want to quit the Doberman breed forever. At best it will make your life miserable for quite some time. No kidding, guys...keep away from EDK. They are bad business! |

| Carosel is nice and experienced, but rather snooty and snobbish like many AKC show breeders. Check out Scott Volz at CharismaticDobermans.com in McAlpin, FL and Melissa Rosa at DagobahDobermans.com in Freehold, NY. Both are 30-year expert breeders and great people. |

What health testing do they complete, prior to breeding?
The second breeder is obviously connected.
Same questions, for them.

| Didn't a user on here recently get a Carousel dog?
I remember hearing some very positive things about that experience.
As for a_man's suggestion of Charismatic and Dagobah - I see very little difference in what these breeders do from what EDK does. Little to no health testing and, I"m pretty sure, just about nothing done with their dogs. They, like EDK, seem to be breeding pet dogs for nothing more than cash. Not breeders I would give my money to.

| RE: Charismatic & Dagobah: You got the websites, folks. Check them out; contact the breeders; ask your questions, and you'll get direct and honest answers. If you want to know what "Sue" does with her dogs and why she does it...don't ask Bill; go to Sue. Make sense? |

However, I'm not asking "Bill" anything. "Sue" has made herself a website for her breeding program/business and I am using her website to know what "Sue" does. I'm not impressed.
If I was searching for a puppy, why would I take the time to inquire about somebody who seems to be doing nothing when there are other breeders that I"ll have the same questions for who are obviously doing more? With "Sue" I'd have to ask my planned questions and then extra questions to get the information that other breeders have provided.
That sounds like a waste of my time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated www.eurostardobermann.com | We had a wonderful experience with Eurostar Kennel. I had been researching Dobermann breeders for a couple of years before I found Ezequiel. My timing was just right. Paloma del Nasi a dog he owns that stays in Serbia at the Unreachables Kennel was just about to whelp a litter after being bred with Thai Reme Max (both can be found in the Dobermann Review forum). After our little Lady Nebesa Unreachables was born we were sent pictures every couple of weeks showing the litter as they were growing. As they completed the litters temperament test as well as the health screening Nebesa was chosen for us. We were then sent a video introducing her and congradulating us. When she was ready to come home to us Ezequiel made all the arrangements for her flight from Serbia to Detriot International airport based on our schedule. After she arrived Ezequiel made contact with us several times to make sure she was okay and settling in. We took her to the Vet the next morning where she checked out perfectly. Our Vet commented on how beautiful she was, and how he had never seen an ear cropp done so well. She has an amazing bell curve. She has been at the top of her class in all her training sessions. Unbelievably intelligent. We can't take her anywhere without multiple people saying " what a beautiful dobermann" . Nebesa turns 10 mo. tomorrow and gets better by the day.She started doggy daycare last week and when my wife went to pick her up last night they jokingly said we couldn't have her back, they want to keep her. So enough with the rambling. I would highly recommend Eurostar Dobermann. We will be getting a male from them soon. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. |
