I just want to get this name out there so no one else has to live through the nightmare that I am still going through. I did my research and there was nothing out there. So I went with her. I searched and searched for days on the internet and asked trainers. In my opinion I got scammed. It has been an emotional roller coaster which has ended up with her having $1,000 of my dollars and I have NO DOG. It doesn't appear as though she plans to make right on any of it. This dog was gift for my 8yo son, she did not care. She emailed me 2 hours before I'm suppose to go meet her to tell me she doesn't have time to meet me. Reschedules for the following weekend and emails the day before to tell me the puppy was "killed" (her words). This is after she was going to sell me 2 littermates. I backed out of that idea and she wouldn't move the deposit from one puppy to the other puppy. It has been 2 months of this. I just want those people who try to research the breeder to at least have something on this "breeder".

Thank you so much I feel the exact same way. I started my experience with Ramstock Dobermans in September at that time there was nothing out there. I starting seeing post about them starting 10-22. I feel they are running a mill also and I also have intentions to contacting the Humane Society if nothing more than for my peace of mind. I'm not sure why but it amazes me that people can treat people and dogs this way. How cruel and heartless, in my opinion.

There wasn't when I first started back in September. The post started on 10-22. I could find where their dogs were used at Studs but that's it. There were nothing that made red flags go up.

Thank you for sharing. At this point in the game, I am soooooo relieved that I did not get one of her puppies. Her business practices lack a little to be desired also.

The fact they were willing to sell you two littermates is a huge red flag. The fact that they advertise on broker type sites is a red flag, as well.

I haven't even looked at their site yet, but they seem like typical greeders/BYBs, from all the info posted so far.

Sounds like you dodged a bullet, albeit a very expensive lesson.

We try very hard to educate your "average American" here (and international members, too, of course) on what to look for in a responsible breeder.

I think a lot of folks are convinced, after long years of this battle, that the only way to even make a dent in the greeders' poor practices is to dry up the demand.

If they get stuck with litters, have to actually feed them for more than a couple weeks, clean up after them (assuming they even bother to), and so on and so forth, maybe they will think twice about breeding those poor Mama dogs yet again.

Hit 'em in the pocketbook.

Edit to add: Quick google turns up all kinds of red flags, very first page of hits, and dating way back before you say you began your research, OP.

I started this journey 9/20. I have yet to get my money back. I am presently seeking criminal chargesof theft by deception and internet faud. I have contacted kimbertal kennels where they advertise they got thier dobes from and the kennel has no record of them. I have learned a valuable lesson however, i hate a thief and a liar. I plan to teach her a lesson as well.

We just got a puppy sent to us from George and Tabitha Doyle/Ramstock Dobermans on Wed. and we were totally scamed!!!!! More to follow in coming days---We WILL not stand for this kind of mistreatment to a wonderful animal!!!!!!

The situation sucks all the way around. I'm sorry you had your hopes up for a pup, and you were let down. That's bad enough, and you are also out $1000! Good luck in your quest for justice.

this shows you have to do your research and once you feel like youve done your research you come to a forum like this for a second opinion and more education on breeders, sorry for your loss hopefully you can sort things out

The defendants, Sandra Kay Webb and Tabitha Nicole Webb, were convicted of forty-seven counts of cruelty to animals and each was sentenced to concurrent sentences of eleven months and twenty-nine days for each count, with incarceration for sixty days and a prohibition from either owning animals for ten years. In addition, the defendants were ordered to pay $39,978.85 in restitution to the Jackson-Madison County Humane Society and to perform fifty hours of community service work, and each defendant was fined a total of $5000. Soon afterwards, the trial court found that each had possessed animals since their convictions and revoked their community corrections sentences

I wonder if they actually waited the mandated 10 years before collecting more dogs and starting this process all over again. I imagine not.

(1) The Webbs cannot own any pets for 10 years.
(2) 50 hours of community service.
(3) Fines of $10,000 total given by the Jury were upheld by Judge Page.
(4) A jail sentence of 11 months and 29 days was imposed and then suspended EXCEPT for 60 days that was to begin on April 2nd. They were placed on probation until their report date on April 2nd.
(5) The Webbs had 90 days to sell (fair market value) the 53 dogs in the hung or not guilty group.
(6) The Judge entered a lien against the 53 dogs on behalf of the Jackson-Madison Co. Humane Society in lieu of restitution for the dogs care. The amount of the lien was not determined at that time.

They were caught less than a year later with more animals.

Of course they never ever even stopped owning animals.

These types never do.

And, they always claim, when caught, that somebody else owns them but keeps them at their house.

Remember, when we were like, ten years old, and that cigarette we were working up the nerve to try got found by Mom or Dad and it was always "somebody else's"?

This is the same kennel I tried asking about and some of you jumped on me and thought I was disingenuous and manipulative....why is that? Anyway, it really doesn't matter. There are several others hoping to put together criminal charges against these monsters, and there are a few that have even hired attorneys...that being said, if you would like to come together as a group, there is also a woman on Gentle Doberman that is posting and looking for more people to come forward and tell their story about these people and put them out of business. They have now changed their name again and are selling under the kennel name Eryn House and saying they are based out of Jackson TN. But, if you call and ask to come and see the pups or parents, you are not allowed to. They will meet you halfway with a pup, etc. More cover ups....please read the thread Ethical breeder too and read more about them...it would be wonderful to put a puppy mill out of business and it seems to me that they would be in quite the pickle having been convicted in the past. Several calls to the local authorities will go a much longer way than just one or two!!

Because you were posting the same things on other forums--google search turns that up real easily, ya know, and you just seemed to have an unusual fixation on a greeder not even in your state--AND you posted the warnings about this kennel on another forum PRIOR to coming here and acting like you didn't know about them.

I call BS on the whole thing, sorry.

We also, following your thread, have quite the increase in the number of one-post-wonders, all of a sudden. On this same matter. Funny coincidence, huh?

If you have some reason to pick this particular greeder for your focus, as opposed to the one-hundred-forty-seven million-and-three other craptastic greeders and mills currently pumping out puppies, well, then...out with it.

If you're here to cry victim and accuse others here of having "nothing to believe in," well, hon, that tiny little sound you hear is all the rescuers and foster homes who participate here rolling their eyes enough to sprain ye olde eyeballs.

If you're actually out in the trenches, pulling, transporting, and fostering dogs, well, kudos for that, but your posts on this matter are plain fishy.
