I have been an onlooker of DT for over two years. It took me so long to join because all of the questions I've had about my doberman have been answered in some form or another. I, however, have never in my life been so disgusted at what I've read about Hungs. I personally have a female doberman from Hungs. She is almost two years old and is ABSOLUTELY the healthiest and smartest doberman I have ever come in contact with. I have owned four dobermans and she takes the cake! The funny thing is, I've known many people who have purchased these 'prized' dobermans you all seem to know and love for thousands of dollars and almost everyone of these dobermans have had serious health problems at one time or another. I paid under $1000 for an IMMACULATE doberman from Hungs. Sure the dogs at Hungs don't eat their food out of silver platters, but these dogs are VERY much loved and very well taken care of! All of the people who knock him down for having 'poor' conditions and for running a so-called 'puppy mill' have most likely never even been on his property. You all act like a class of middle schoolers, which I know well of since I am the mother of a 13 year old. Making fun of the breeder for his weight and insulting his intelligence shows that you all do not have the best interest in mind for the dobermans, you just want to make yourselves feel better and attack a breeder that you are most likely, deep down, insanely jealous of. His success burns you all up.

I know for a fact that his dobermans are shipped all over the world. In fact, 17 of his dobermans are used for security in the Philippines. How many of your $2000 dobermans, or any dog for that matter, have come from any breeder that holds such high award. He has rescued dobermans from being put down. How can you say that he doesn't care about his dogs? Also, the photo-shopping that you all seem to accuse him of is NONSENSE. I can promise you that none of the dogs are photo shopped. They are a European blood-line and are essentially a bigger breed. My female doberman weighs 90 lbs and stands 28 inches tall and is in, like I said before, immaculate condition. I am sorry if your expensive doberman does not look as good as his do. I guess you all are doing the best you can, sitting behind your computers and insulting someone and something that you have no idea about.

Chester County puppy mill suspect facing nearly 200 charges | The Herald

RICHBURG
The Chester County man accused of running a puppy mill is facing nearly 200 criminal charges after authorities seized more than 100 dogs from his home last week.

Jordan James Johnson, 47, of the 5600 block of Richburg Road in Richburg, is charged with 116 counts of ill treatment of animals and 81 counts of failure to inoculate for rabies, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. He remained jailed Monday under $400,000 bond.

Johnson was arrested Friday after officers seized 116 Doberman pinschers from his home, Chief Deputy Robert Sprouse said.

Investigators say Johnson “intentionally inflicted ... repeated unnecessary pain and/or suffering” by leaving the dogs for extended periods of time without proper food or water in “grossly unsanitary and disease-ridden conditions,” according to an arrest warrant.

Authorities say the dogs were not being cared for and were “in very bad physical condition.” Some of the dogs had physical injuries that had not been tended to.

Sprouse said it does not appear any of the dogs will have to be euthanized.

Officers began investigating after receiving a call about Johnson’s letting his dogs run at large, according to a sheriff’s report. The dogs were reportedly running across the street and into neighbors’ yards.

The Chester County animal shelter remained open throughout the weekend as Animal Control officials tried to find foster homes for the dogs. Sprouse said Monday that all 116 dogs had been placed in foster homes.

I recall him posting threats on this forum. I've crossed paths with him before and he made threats to me. I'm concerned for the neighbor that reported him and the staff at Animal Control when (if?) he gets out of jail. Is the post still available where he said he was going to a lot of twisted things to the people on this forum? I thought I also saw a post where he had emailed a woman and her daughter and made threats. I'd like the Sherriff's dept to see those insane rants to further demonstrate his character and how volatile he's been for years. Is it possible to find his posts and email them to Chester County?
Does anyone know how he behaved when he was arrested/dogs seized? I'm so curious to know if he spoke to them the way he speaks here.

I was looking for the older one that was so crazy. All of them are, but one in particular was a long rant and he said something about feeding everyone to his dogs. If I found it, I'd forward it to the Sherriff dept. Don't know if it would help, but prob wouldn't hurt. I hope they realize how mentally unstable he is before they let him out!
I can't imagine what he'll say in court. Almost worth going to the hearing.

Chester, South Carolina BYB/Puppymill Bust - Georgia Doberman Rescue

breaks my heart, but I am given so much hope knowing that the dog community bands together and takes care of the dogs. It was just a few years ago a massive hoarding/breeding situation in Texas was closed in the collie world and the way the breed and dog community stepped up then, it's already happening now and it will make a world of difference in these dogs lives, we just need the court to make sure they never go back to that man, not one single dog.

In that case, all the animals were awarded to Houston Collie Rescue. The woman has also been fined by the AKC, and lost her privileges for 10 years. If she had been convicted of felony animal abuse instead of misdemeanor, she'd have been banned for life.

Again I'm in no way defending him, I find everything he's done deplorable, heart wrenching and, sickening.

But I do like to think about the other side, just something I try to do with anything to gain perspective, as I'm sure we all tend to think "how could he do that" for this or many other situations, and in this case I think the other side was a mentally deluded individual who's dogs paid the price.

I also posted this on another thread.......
It's being rumored that there was a partner with Johnson at Hung's Iron dog kennels. It's been said that he has ownership of many of the breeding males and may have shared profits. Animal Control and Chester County need as much information as possible. This person needs to be held accountable or at least make sure dogs are not returned to him only to start this again. Does anyone have any information?

Anyone who has been in doubt have been seeing the proof now of his operations.

But anyone who has been around these forums long enough knows what a sales line looks like for these types....

Just read his description here: Kennel Hung's Iron Dog Kennels

That is some strange poop being said there. Family units..... each puppy has 87 championships..... Oy this guy stretched it big time.

Has anyone taken a look at his Facebook page? There is a go fund me account set up trying to reach a goal of $45,000. Plus updates. They have the address posted to send "character references" to Chester County. There are a lot of people who are supporting this and working to get his dogs back! So sad!
Producing that many pups, surely there are local rescues who've observed his practices. Has anyone had experience with him or his dogs that can also provide "character references"? His own posts here should show his character!

PS: A supporter of Johnson on his Facebook page posted a message exchanged from Johnson. In the message Johnson stated he has had over 200 dogs that have died! ! The worst part is the person who shared the message thought this was a positive message! 200 dogs who've died?
