Trying to look for a breeder near Kernersville NC...

Hey, I've been looking for days for a Red Male Dobe baby. Had a breeder named Sammy Lee of the k9wizards. He made me an offer to have a Euro bloodline shipped from europe. he has a malethat was sire by Alpharide Avatar, who was sired by Fedor del Nasi. i looked at the database and it seems that this bloodline doesnt have much longevity. he's looking for $2000 or more for shipment.

on a side note, I was wondering anyone knows of a litter with a Red Male Doberman? I have recently moved into a home and will be putting up a fence very soon. I have one dog Bella and i have trained her on my own along with all of the dogs i've previously owned. I've been looking into purchasing from tayash dobermans and i have contacted Goldgrove but they think Red dobermans are "silly" and does not breed them...

Out of those 3 you mentioned the only one I would possibly consider is Goldgrove. K9wizards is a broker and not a breeder. Tayash breeds Z factored albinos, so that's a flat out heck no.

You need to expand your search area, the DPCA breeders list is a good starting point.

Another good resource is the Doberman Pinscher Breeder Listings Facebook page. They will know if someone in your area is expecting a litter anytime soon. Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3232...?ref=bookmarks

You have to get approved before you can post, but it's usually <24 hours turnaround time. I have a red boy and yes he's very "silly", but he has more personality than any dog I've ever had and I love him for it. Best of luck in your search, hopefully you'll stick around so we can see your boy grow up!

If you want a good Doberman from a reputable breeder, it may take some time. Most good breeders don't breed often and they have waiting lists. Please be prepared to wait.

Thank you everyone for the reply. Yeah I'm realizing I will have to wait. 😝 I've been trying to find contact information of Kachina kennel. All the websites I've been to hasn't been working. Also tried pantheon and Talladega, still no response yet. I did get an email from a woman in canada, Kathleen Turner with arkat dobermans

Doesn't Tayash breed albinos, specifically? I seem to remember they have a reputation for it.

I can't tell anything from Bel Mar's website. There's next to no information on their current stud, and looking at the pedigree it seems that there are multiple unfinished dogs in there. There are reasons to breed an unfinished dog, but this many is usually a red flag. I couldn't find anything specific about Brenda Blanchard, so you'll have to fill us in on everything that you know about the sire and dam before anyone can give you some advice.

I sure hope you put the brakes on and do a bunch of reading on here before you buy a puppy. This breed has so very many very serious health issues and you are looking at some really horrible breeders who couldn't care less what kind of awful health bombs they are breeding. Ethical breeders can rarely sell you a puppy "on demand" as you seem to want because they have waiting lists. Please revisit your decision to find a red male puppy immediately, do your research, and find out how to establish a relationship with a good breeder. You'll be so so glad you did.
