Breeder in West Coast area

Hi everyone!

My mom is interested in getting a doberman puppy. Does anyone know of reputable breeders in the west coast area? I live in Southern California but will travel to a reputable breeder. Worth the trip!!

Welcome to DT. There are quite a few good breeders on the west coast. A good place to start looking is the DPCA breeder list. DPCA | The Doberman | Breeder Referral

If I was on the West Coast, I would contact Eve Auch at Irongate Dobermans. Her contact information per the DPCA Breeder listings page is: (530) 582-4942. irongate@saber.net.

Well....Its pretty well known that when it comes to West coast breeder recommendations, I am a one trick pony. Our last 3 boys have come from Foxfire in Southern Oregon. My current youngest is honestly the best dog, vis a vis, temperament and heath that I have ever owned.

Check out: Foxfire Dobermans - Breeder-Owner of AKC Top Producing Doberman Pinschers.

If you like what you see, contact Michelle Santana.

One caveat.... Michelle can be a little difficult to get a hold of. Her home 20 is a bit off the grid and she is often out of town. Still, it would be worth the effort to make contact, IMO.
