Looking for a European Doberman

While surfing for a European Doberman kennel I came across " CANIS MAXIMUS " , which is owned and run by Irina , I was fascinated how deep is her knowledge about the breed , the web site she created is highly educational and to top it all there are beautiful puppies and young adults that are currently for sale , I saw one red male around 7-8 months old that is available and i woulD like to know if someone among the doberman community have an experience buying from her ? Hope you could relate me your experience before I make my final decision .Thanks

Use the search function in this forum and search for Canis Maximus. Let's just say that her reputation here is not stellar and leave it at that.

Have you looked at the United Doberman Club breeder list? That's a better starting point in your search for a Euro style Doberman.

Breeder websites can be very misleading and are not necessarily indicative of the quality of a breeder.

Run. Run far, far away.

I am the sea witch. I am the tide you fear and the turning you can't deny. I am the sound of the waves running over your bones on the beach, little man, and I am not amused at finding you on my doorstep.

I've said it before, I feel like 90% of "kennels" who have some sort of macho title-maximus, kevlar, warlock, rex, caliber, king, alpha, overly german name not located in Europe etc...
are greeders who are capitalizing on the public's opinion that dobes are "tough guy" dogs. (in reality, they are marshmallows)

I'm sure there are exceptions to this, but any time I'm asked about "badass doberman kennel" by a friend or coworker I have to resist the urge to roll my eyes.

To the OP- check out the UDC for reputable euro style breeders and do research on what bringing home a "working line" dog entails.
