TNT Dobermans in Colorado?

I live in Colorado and while searching for Doberman puppies and breeders found TNT Dobermans (Home Page). I cant find any info or referrals about them and just wanted to know if anyone has any experience or knowledge about this breeder. Any info or recommendations on breeders in Colorado or surrounding states would be greatly appreciated.

No health testing, no titles just breeding.

You can far better than what this 'breeder' has to offer

I suggest starting with the DPCA website and contacting breeders from there. You still have to do your homework but it's a better starting point that googling doberman breeders.

I did start with the DPCA website and have been going down the list, doing research on each breeder listed and actually found TNT while searching for info on another breeder. After finding TNT I just wasn't able to find anything else about them so thought I would ask about it here.

Hi and Welcome. I do not know of any breeders in Denver, or CO with a litter on the ground or expecting one, anytime soon. I don't see Cyndi Huckfedt from Gallant often, but I doubt she's breeding with Mona being on tour.

Kathi Wisdom with Wisdom Dobermans might be breeding in Nov. You can reach out to her on Facebook. You could also reach out to Vicky with ImageMaker dobes. she should be on the dpca website but I doubt she'll have anything until the spring. Many of the breeders that show don't tend to have litters this time of year because it's peak show season. There is a FB group called Doberman Breeder Listing, I believe, if you're not determined to purchase from a breeder that's close by.

Unfortunately most responsible breeders rarely breed so there will be a waiting period if you want a puppy from someone worth supporting, I'd say you would get a puppy in the spring though.

As far as this breeder goes, I wouldn't give them my money as their dogs look about the same as the dogs that I rescue. At least with the rescues they tend to have naturals ears which is better than the ear croppings I see on this breeders dogs. If you're not dead set on a Doberman I have some BEAUTIFUL dobe/lab mixed puppies I'm fostering!!! imagine the beautiful Doberman head and feet, with the body and color of a black or choc. lab with the single coat of a Doberman. I'm not kidding these puppies are STUNNERS!!!! Here's a pic of my boy Phineus

Wow Karen...What a handsome boy! How many of your foster pups have yet to be homed? And, how old are they now? What about Mom, is she still with you? In any case, I am really surprised this guy hasn't been snapped right up....

WE are down to 9 puppies left, we just started adopting them out. I'm actually happy to report that a fellow breeder's son adopted the first one They are now 11 weeks old and they are all beautiful!!! They are going quickly, I actually have someone coming to look at them tonight. Momma was adopted very quickly as she's full dobe and beautiful with a GREAT temperament! I wouldn't be surprised if he gets snatched tonight, not only a solid temperament but he's also very sweet and LOVES my lap. He'll instantly stop playing for some foster mommy time but dang it then comes the others! House training as been a breeze with these guys too! I'm so impressed since it's my first litter, no accidents over night and it's been quite a few days since we've had an accident in the house! Now I just need some time for leash training!

I probably don't know what I am talking about but I was just looking at that TNT Doberman webpage and the puppy pictures posted on the puppies tab on the far left do not look like very happy or well cared for puppies. I mean if was going to take photos of puppies for sale, they would be clean at the very least and not have eye goobers and dirt all over them. They are missing that gleam in their eye of a well cared for puppy. Just in my opinion. Those pictures made me feel a little sad for them.

They weren't a disaster, some were clean, but they just didn't look like mischievous little pups looking for the next thing to get into. Which is what they should look like.

Out of curiosity I emailed this breeder. I'll post the email exchange later but they do ZERO health testing!!!! They literally put NO money into their dogs whatsoever! I can't wait to see what they are charging for puppies!!!

Could we maybe take the foster pup discussion to another thread? The op could use help finding reputable doberman breeders if anyone can help with that I'm sure it would be appreciated.

LOL.... That's why they are called "threads". They weave back and forth. If you go back and read Karen's (Gretchen_Red) original comment, you will see that she is the poster who provided actual info. Personally, I feel this is (was?) very educational. (cute too!)

As a mod, You have the ability to delete or move the comments.

Go for it, if you think it is necessary.

Did you get your puppy? I know of an accidental breeding that just took and they are located just south of Denver. The litter will be mostly Euro with some American lines. A lot of bone, good looking dogs.

I didn't think you were looking? I really think they will be very good looking dogs. Marienburg's bitch to a St. Kreal male, and Ann Platte is flying in to do the crops. I'm kind of Jelly myself lol, one puppy is enough for this chica.

I am sorry you are having a hard time locating a puppy. If you stay with DT, maybe the forum can point you to the puppy of your dreams. Don't be disappointed if you have to wait for a responsible litter. I hope you have better luck than I did contacting "local" breeders. I made phone call after phone call to supposedly reputable people and got squat from them. Approached a handler after a show and she blew me off. Tried repeated phone calls and when I finally got a heart beat, she said she didn't want to sell me a puppy because she preferred someone that did something with their dogs. Gees, I do rally, obedience, schutzhund, nosework. I was not impressed with her at all. Just saw her at Pueblo last week and I almost puked. So keep trying. Not all are pricks.

I could easily become a collector and hoarder of these dogs. I just love them having
them around me. At my age I have to just knock it off already.

Yikes! I'm also in Colorado and also am putting feelers out for puppies as we will be in the market for one soon, and I'm actually kind of intimidated to contact breeders for fear of being rejected this way, since I'm strictly looking for a pet. I don't show and I don't intend to ever show in the future.

OP, if you have had any luck in finding any reputable breeders nearby, I'd love to hear about them.

TNT Doberman

Hi there!
So I wanted to responses to LanceCO and his question about TNT Doberman. We got our puppy from there and she had her health guaranteed p, first round of shots, and we can register her for AKC. My boyfriend and I had a good experience with his breeder.

Hi Gretchen,
I may be a little late checking back in but is there any additional info on this litter south of Denver?
