I've read some comments about Molly King and her dogs that were unnerving. Does anyone have personal experience with one of her puppies. I was looking at her dogs but am not sure after some of the stories. I know there are 2 sides to every coin so I'd like all input from people who actually bought one of her dogs. I'll decide after I weigh all the pros and cons. As I have read here over the past few months it's either all bad or all good. A dog just like a humans health is a big ? No guarantees. We want a good base but stuff happens to me, to all of you and to dogs. So far I've been lucky. Will appreciate any and all reasonable inputs. Thanks. Yes Dobie Kisses are The Best. I've loved them since I was little. Thanks!

SCAM ALERT - MONACO DOBERMANN KENNEL - MOLLY KING

I want this "breeder" to come here and explain her new KIJIJI ad. She's advertising a new litter for August 2016. So her new litter will be born in 10 weeks. Yet according to information she has 3 females that all had litters. Which is the truth? Is she breeding again with the same females. I'm would like to see this fraudster come on here and explain to everyone she has screwed and sold sick puppies to what her side is. Where did she get this female from? Is Molly popping out puppies now? It makes my blood boil seeing someone of her lack of morals doing this to unsuspecting buyers. Molly come out of hiding you scam artist. Explain to us how you sleep at night? How many heartaches you've caused and how you can look yourself in the mirror and live with yourself. Are you a sociopath? I'm sure all the innocent buyers you've scammed want an explanation. I'm SO happy I never touched one of your puppies with a ten foot pole! FRAUDSTER SCAN ARTIST AND A THIEF. SHAME ON YOU.
Oh add ANIMAL ABUSER to your list of achievements.

When I read a post about Monaco Dobermans, Molly King, it makes my blood run COLD.

I purchased a puppy from her back in 2003. Prince was a beautiful boy and he had DCM, I had to put him down when he was only 5 years old. Molly is a Greeder and only cares about pumping out puppies and making money. She breeds her females over and over again, its a shame. We went to see her before we got our puppy and she told me she does health testing on her dogs but she doesn't do anything. I was stupid back then and took her word for it and didn't ask to see any health documents.

Prince was sick for 5 months, we spent a lot of money and it the end we had to let him go, it breaks your heart when they're so young. Prince had a lot of DCM in his pedigree and when I called Molly to tell her he was sick she told me it wasn't her fault. Do a search on here about Monaco, its all BAD. I love Dobermans but if she was the last Doberman Breeder on this planet I wouldn't buy a puppy from her. I still miss Prince after all these years, I loved him so much.

We got Sammy two weeks after Prince died from Glengate Dobermans. Mary is a responsible breeder and a good friend. We have stayed in touch and she has helped me through a few rough spots. So glad she had a litter when I was looking for a puppy, Mary you're the best.

Save yourself a lot of heartache and find a responsible breeder.

I feel, your pain. So sad I'm beyond words. All due to one person whose name comes up here more than any other breeder. I'm glad you opened up and came here to tell us your experience. I read so many red flag issues about breeders i am thinking of buying from a person who has a litter once a year. I bought a dog like that once not knowing his pedigree nor anything else. I wanted a Doberman and he was available. He never had health problems. No papers and a receipt. I knew he was born on June 5th. Period. He was a wonderful healthy dog. The more I read about breeders the more I distrust them. Your friend Mary is not breeding any more. Sadly. I hope more people that were cheated by this greedy con woman come forward and tell their stories. She needs to be stopped. Good luck with your dog.

To Mary and Prince,
I just read your post and it makes my BLOOD BOIL! I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Prince and the heartache you went through. I had one if my dogs get sick in his senior years but it was part of old age and that was hard. But at 5 years old. Sound like my impression of this cold hearted money grubby scam artist Molly King was right on the money. She's disgusting. I don't know what is worse, scamming people, selling ticking time bomb puppies or treating her own females like rented uteruses. Over and over does she have a heart? Her face should be put beside the definition of evil in Websters. I felt like her dogs were low energy. Hate to quote another idiot Trump but the low energy analogy applies. It's because the dogs are tired. Puppy mills. Is there no law? Is there no organization to close this evil down. She's starting to sound like a glorified puppy mill. What happened to her health guarantee for life? She's cut a lot of propaganda from her ad on Kijiji because she's going to be sued. I heard from someone compiling legal action against her. Sometimes in life we cross the wrong person. You dance and play games scamming people but karma is waiting and you know what they say about karma. She hurt you and your dog and cost you so much in vet bills. Why didn't you turn your tears to action. Sue the bag. She's nothing but a money grubby bag. I called her out. MISS MOLLY OH GOLLY come out and show your ugly hypocritical lying face here. Own up to my our sins against your animals. There are 17 pages of heartache I read. It caught my attention. I'm actually going to contact the kennel clubs and see if they take action against her. Call the Canadian Kennel Club. Call the Doberman Club. If enough people call administration and make complaints she's gonna get blown out of the puppy mill business. If I did what she does I'd be fearful for my life. I don't know what she has where her heart is supposed to be. I'm sitting to think sociopath. No conscious. No guilt not remorse. Time for the law to step in. Organize a class action suit. Victims of Miss Molly to court.
As for you I am happy you recovered and have a new friend. I will look into this person Mary. Good breeders are few and far between. I'm thinking people should do a human interests story. Go to the media. Meanwhile one day that miserable bag Molly will go to that special place in hell waiting for people like her who abuse animals. Don't drop this because she will do it over and over like she pumps out sickly puppies.
I read your story in a prior post and felt badly for you. How your sick dog crawled over to comfort you. The love of a Doberman is amazing that is why my blood is curdling when I read this. To do this to such a noble loving dog I am not going to say here. It's not legal. She will meet her match.

So with all the crap on here about Monaco, I wanted to share my story in hopes of finding other people who have recently suffered. I put a $1000 deposit down for one of Molly's May 2016 puppies in january. Said she would be having three litters to get them all done with and a fourth litter in the fall. I spoke to her over the phone, transferred the money and that's that. In February, I went to visit her in smith falls and meet the dogs. The dogs were fine. She took them out of her bedroom one by one and showed them to us. They all hung out in the living room. Calm and quiet. We played with their ears, teeth, feet. Got to pet them and feed them treats. She had 4 females and 2 males that we met. She said she had a 5th female that was "retired" and also alpha so she kept her away. She talked for hours barely leaving us any room to ask questions. As we were leaving she told us we would have to send another $500 to her in advance for the ear cropping in order to reserve the puppy's place with the vet... said I would give it to her when the puppy is born. I kept in contact with her to get updates about the process and when the females would be pregnant. She never contacted me first I always had to call or email her. Anyways, in March she said the females were pregnant and the due date was may 20th. ... may 20th rolls around and nothing. So I called her on the 21st, dog ended up being in labor for 2 full days... placenta got stuck inside the mom. . Infected the babies so only 3 made it.... second litter due 10 days later. Only 1 puppy. Third litter wasn't even pregnant due to low progesterone levels. Now she has enough people for three litters who reserved who won't be getting their puppies. I demanded my money back but she said the deposit is nonrefundable. I will get a puppy but I have to wait for the fall litter. I'm afraid for these dogs now. She is also breeding her third female again since she didn't have puppies... I just want my deposit back. It won't happen. I don't even know if I will get a puppy in the fall or if it will be healthy. Don't fall for her tricks. She's a big talker. I have found out that a proper breeder does not ask for a deposit until they have the puppies and know what is available... their deposits are also not that high. I am very disappointed in myself. I did research but chose to give her the benefit of the Doubt and now I'm paying for it.

Its too bad you decided to get a puppy from her. We went to see her in October and she told us back then she was having two litters that spring. When the due date came along just like you we never got a call from her. When I did get a hold of her she told me the same thing. One of her girls wasn't pregnant and the other one had some sort of problem, don't remember right now so we would have to wait for our puppy. We also gave her a 1000 dollar deposit back then but she didn't ask for a cropping deposit, new one for her. I feel sorry for her dogs, she breeds them over and over again until they can't produce anymore. We saw two of her female's when we went to visit, their tummies were almost touching the floor.

We waited a full year before we got our puppy.

Wow same story here. I was led to believe she had 3 females pregnant. Her 1st litter had 3 pups left because her female fell,on them. Thus is Emma. Poor dog. She's getting sued if she doesn't refund me. I have a few other clients who will be testifying as witnesses. She's just pure evil. I think she has screwed a lot of people like us. I have 3 and breeders are getting calls with the same stories. And she says other breeders have bad dogs. She's a dog abuser.

Mary so how is it if you lost a dog you got from Molly King died at age five and then you put a deposit for another one from the same person. What am I missing here? You wrote below that you gave her a deposit for a thousand dollars and she didn't give you a puppy. Please explain.

My family and I went to visit that witch in October and she told us she was having two litters that spring. When we were leaving she told us we would have to give her a deposit of $1000 dollars or she couldn't put us on her waiting list. When spring came along I had to call her and she told us no puppies and she would apply our deposit to the next litter so we would have to wait for our puppy. We got Prince in August/2003.

When Prince got sick I called her she said she would replace our puppy. I was furious and told her you can't replace Prince. I spoke to her again a few days later about other things and she said we would have to pay some amount for another puppy and that's when I let her have it. I told her there was no way in hell I would ever purchase another puppy from her and I would do everything I could to warn people about her. She said she knew I was hurting and suggested I get professional help so I could get over his death.

Prince was a beautiful puppy, very friendly and loved the world. It breaks my heart that his life was cut short but I'm not sorry that he was in my life for five years. He made me happy each and every day, he was spoiled rotten and he knew his family loved him.

i got suckered in by monaco dobermans as well... I want a refund from her because of the whole mishap she had with her last litter.

it isn't right that she uses other peoples money on vet bills for other customers dogs. i'm looking at taking her to the small claims court.

PM me if you are interested to join me.

thanks

Good for you for being willing to take her to court! I hope you win. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the animal pedigree act of Canada. Depending on your issues it may give you some ammunition in court.
I would suggest also filing a complaint with the CKC.
If she cannot sell them registered it may deter some people from purchasing from her.

wow I am truly sorry that so many people had a bad experience with this "breeder". even though many say they did their research, their research is done without accurate knowledge. You have to know the breed to be able to know a good breeder. There are so many good breeders out there. I personally have only a handful that I would buy from but that is because I am looking for very specifics that meet exactly what I am looking for. But they are not the only ones who breed quality. They are looking for the same narrow margin that I am. Also called personal preference. This board though can seem harsh at times are in actually not necessarily harsh but blunt. Dealing with blunt facts isn't always pleasant. But they are still the facts. Do I refer to the DPCA? NO. Mine is much more refined then that. But if you don't have the foundation that is the premier place to start. at least it is in the right direction. My dogs are not with out any negatives. But when the worst thing you can say is, I would like the eyes to be darker. Yea we are in the right direction. Post, ask questions, listen, and ask more questions. And then get out there and put your hands on these dogs. (not necessarily putting your hand on them) but look at them, learn, get exposure. You will find your knowledge will grow and so will your appreciation for the right quality of doberman.

Just in case anyone is wondering, I took Molly to court and we settled. Judge was in my favor though. They don't have time for her crap and know that what she's doing is wrong. If I had taken her to trial I probably would have won. So if anyone is contemplating whether or not they should take Molly to court for screwing them over, DO IT. She needs to pay for all the **** she does to people.

I am also another victim of Molly's SCAM!! However, i only have myself to blame! I should have done more research before handing her my money.....lesson learned. Luckily i have all of our emails, one specifically saying she will Via transfer my full deposit should i not have a pup come Spring 2017. After receiving a phone call a couple weeks back with "devastating news", we will not be receiving a pup from a Spring litter as her females (2) once again, had false pregnancies..."there were no puppies in there belly's." Come on, do breeders not have ultra sounds to see how the puppies are doing and if there are any. It's BULL!! She is such a scammer and i don't even know how she can keep up with all her lies and manipulations. The fact that she strings innocent people and children along, knowing there will be NO puppy for a while, is disgusting!!! I have contacted my Lawyer, gave him all my emails and we shall see what happens next! If you have any advice to give me while proceeding with this or if you can help in any way, it would be much appreciated! Thank you!!

Is anyone else currently trying to get their deposit refund from Molly? Trying to get a hold of her is nearly impossible. She doesn't reply to emails or texts, and is avoiding my calls now too. Last I heard from her was that her next litter is due August 9th and "hopefully" she can refund my deposit then. If I cannot wait until August 9th she told me to take her to small claims court.. Clearly this is standard for her seeing as that's the only way people have gotten their deposits back.

I actually have a similar story to you however we are still waiting on a litter which is due in March....did you ever end up getting a puppy from her? I have been in contact with her and she replies back fairly quick so I am hoping she has learned her lesson (maybe she hasn't) I have been told because we were the first to put our deposit down we have first pick in this upcoming litter and as long as I get a puppy and she follows through with what she says it comes with I am fine to deal with her, however, I am prepared to take a loss after reading through these forums, but I would be interested to hear the outcome of your dealings with her.

Hello, I bought a puppy from her and she is now 5 yrs old. She has gone through IVDD surgery (comminly known as wobblers). The total vet bill was close to $11,000 thank God for pet insurance! If not, she may not be around today. Now, she will be going to Montral to see a cardiologist because she had a CT scan to make sure her plates and screws were in place, and they ran a CT SCAN on her chest and abdomen bc there is a small hard lump on her outside paw and i was scared it was osteosarcoma which is not uncommon in the breed and wanted to make sure there was no tumour in her lungs..so that being said, the lu,p in her foot is just a bone spur...BUT...the radiologist stated that she has a slighly enlarged heart! so, i have decided to take her to the cardiologist to make sure she does not have the beginnings of DCM.
I did inform Molly of her neck problem and wanted her to be aware that my girl had thismissue, just in case other pups or dogs from her litter show signs of this, and I did not hear one single word back from her. I can tell you this is my girl has DCM, i will be in contact with her, and it will NOT be pleasant, bc she guarantees they are clear of this up until 6 yrs of age, and i have the form with her signature on it...

so all this being said, i would steer clear of her, and i will keep u posted as to what the outcome is at the cardiologist....one thing i can guarantee about her dogs is that they are the most beautiful ones i have seen around....but health wise....RUN! and if you do end up with a puppy whether from her or any breeder, get FULL pet insurance the second you have that puppy in your home...do not wait!!!!!

i’m very sorry anytime I hear of a Doberman suffering with diseases that are painful and almost entirely preventable with ethical breeding; it literally makes me sick to think about a human who is making money off of the suffering of Dobermans. How disgusting that a breeder like this woman can continue breeding dogs in this country With no regard for anything except cash. I also hope and pray that folks who are puppy shopping will come across threads like this and realize the importance of researching a breeder’s practices.

Hi, actually yiu are wrong as here are the notes from her neurologist: Major Problem List:C6-C7 intervertebral disc disease –disc associated cervical spondylomyelopathy –ventral slot and fixation after distraction May 2017

so, they can go hand i. hand, regardless of that, it is not proven to be heriditary, but most likely is. I have heard of a few dobes that have had this issue from different breeders, sometimes it true boils down to the breed, some breeds are more prone to certain issues over others. i have had her heart checked by a cardiologist just recently and her heart is strong and clear of DCM at the present moment. i cannot stress enough for anyone owning this breed or any dog or breed to get pet insurance. also, many people have dogs with strange gaits and think nothing of it bc the dog appears pain free as well...just remember just bc ur dobe came from another breeder outside of nutbar Mollys does not mean by any means he or she is free and clear of dobey issues.....
