Hello to everyone.
First off I would like to say that had you had an issue with myself I would of loved advice. Starting out in the show world is hard as it is.
JKL Doberman bought our first "show" dog from Reining Kennels, since that is what they had advertised and we didnt know any better. There where Champions in the lines so we figured it was good.
We started going to handling classes and where really excited about showing.
We later where notified that Kurbans She's Gone Country was for sale, we jumped at the oppertunity (due to her perdi). Sparing my left arm to get her to us, we entered in our first AKC show. WOW-E. Did we have another thing coming! We where shuned like the plague by most as we inquired about how things ran and where to go but a few took pitty I guess and guided us as to what our faults where and that we really shouldnt be showing the blue due to lines and low tail... We then hired a professional to show Kurbans She's Gone Country where she advised us to re home our Blue since it shouldnt be bred. We did of course to our sister in Boston as pet quality on a nueter contract.
Care Bear (Kurbans' She's Gone Country) was professional shown and owner handled in the UKC as well. We where on our way. We started looking for a Good Breeder and really loved Care Bear's lines. We then found Kettle Cove Doberman who really took us under there wings!!! At around two years plus we where planning on taking her to one there stud dogs AFTER the heath testing was cleared. Instead at one year 8 months Care Bear was put to sleep as she had a long downhill battle with thyroid cancer. So after numerouse vet bills and still owing my left arm on her we where then down to Paco our NUETERED resuce doberman. (we also obtained Daisy one of my in laws pregnant doberman, who was going through a divorce and could not care for her) We sold all the puppies as pet quality on contracts and keep in touch with all of them, we assisted with ear taping and have watched them when they go on vacations. We also rehomed Daisy the mother to a screened pet home on a spay contract. Since she was just pet quality.
So our house was naked...
We realized that we still wanted to play so we looked into co owning a show doberman agian. We found one that we agreed with and did lots of homework in the right area's of health and titles.
Thus our Juggernaut.
We hope that everyone understands know where we came from and who we are now...
I wish I would of seen this post earlier so I could of stoped all this bad mouthing...
Please if you would like more information, we dont bite
We always welcome guidence and look forward to our journey!
