Your vet giving out your name and/or phone number is a breach of client confidentiality. That is a MAJOR no-no! We can't even give info to other vets or rescues without the expressed permission from the client. I would call your vet and tell them that they are legally not allowed to give out yours (or anyone else's) personal information without their permission.

If someone called us and wanted the number of someone knowledgable about a certain breed, we would call that client and ask if they would be willing to talk to this person, and if so, give the client that person's number to call - not the other way around.

Maybe your vet thought to send her to a knowledgeable doberman person. I often think I get random referrals after years of not breeding because others know I will talk someone's ear off if I have a point to make. If the vet gives out three names and all tell the lady you shouldn't bother breeding her, maybe it will sink in.
