Hi everyone! I've started my search for a dobe puppy. I lost my dobe to CVI in April and miss her so much that I thought I better get started with my research in the hopes of being able to find a great breeder and get on a waiting list so that I could hopefully have a puppy sometime within a yr (around/about) of her loss. I'm looking for a companion dog. I would like to be able to do therapy work with it, and will be taking obedience classes and maybe dabbling in agility, but don't think I will be competing in those venues.

Anyway after doing some reading, I found a breeder who does the early neurological stimulation and follows the rule of 7's with her pups as well as health testing and titling. After many emails with her I do believe that she is a wonderful breeder and has several therapy dogs in her line. But I just wanted to run it by you guys and see if anyone had any input and/or experience with her. I did do a search but wasn't able to come up with any threads re: her. I know Robyn very well, she has nice dogs! I would recommend her as a reputable breeder. She breeds with Jana and Beth Patterson.

Robyn is great I have known her for about six years.She helped raise my red male when he was young.She is very knowledgeable about Dobe health,breeding,training you name it I have called her many times on health issues.

Wow! Cathy43 your boy is really beautiful! How old is he in the last picture in your gallery? And if you wouldn't mind telling me, what is his temperament like?

One of Robyn's girls Opal, is having a litter this fall, and I am hoping for a red male if all goes well.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question, I feel really comfortable and very very excited to be getting a puppy form her!

I think he was 14 months in that photo. He just turned 16 months on 6-23. Some pics he looks mature, in others he looks like a baby.
He is a good pet, not dog agressive at all, barks when folks come to the door, trainable but not likely to set the performance rings on fire. Can take him anywhere.
