| I would personally go there meet him on his door-step with the police and tell them he robbed me. I thank just going there with the police would scare the living crap out of him. No matter what distance. I would also take Caelestine on the offer, the more help the better. |

| Hi - Just adding my 2 cents. (and Caelestis - you are a truly decent soul!!!) -
This is, even if not intentional, certainly looking like theft, mail fraud, deceptive practices, maybe bait and switch - who knows, since they won't respond to you. You are acting like you don't want to trouble them because they might be busy. This is their business... they owe you responses, explanations, pictures. You have every right to be suspicious and disgruntled, as well as disappointed. I hope you get every penny back, report them, and then go get a beautiful puppy from someone reputable and sincere. Good luck! Lois San Diego, CA |

| | Lil Pup | Good Morning Everyone,
Well when I first wrote on this website yesterday about my problem I had no idea the response I would get! to be honset I was shocked at all the terrible stories about this breeder, when I read my posts to my boyfriend we were both deflated we thought we made a good choice but obviously we didn't do enough research. I did write Mr. Ryan back and said I would like a refund due to lack of communication etc.. shortly after I recieved a voicemail and email from him which he oddly had a friendly tone and said the pups were doing good and he would send pics at 5weeks of age and "we can't rush mother nature" I don't know exactly what that means. I did write him back say we are not trying to be impatient ppl we have questions that are going unanswered and we are new to this and feel we have no one to talk to etc.. So thats where we are at. I do want to thank everyone for their support and concern we do appreciate everyone's input even if its hard to read but its good to know. Thanks again guys
Hopefully we'll find a solution soon |

I really am doubting that this will end good for you. and It really makes me mad! Please dont think all breeders are like this... You may have to just wait and go on a waiting list for another puppy ... If this doesnt work out...
Sometimes good things come to those who wait?
Good luck i HOPE it works out for you.
Keep us posted. Thanks |

JMHO
( I wouldnt buy a stuffed Toy from that man) |

| I know that a lot of breeders do require a deposit, mine certainly did, but the cheque wasn't cashed until we had Lexx in our hands and also, it was fully refundable.

Hopefully we'll find a solution soon | NovaScotia, I am so sorry you and your boyfriend have been overwhelmed and disheartened by the comments on here about von Ryan Luxus.
I know no one here meant to add to your bad experience!
We are just upset that you've stumbled into poor guidance by someone who seems to have ill-repute. (And sounds like for good reason.)
Please, you sound like a nice person, and like you are willing to be pacified by this fella's voicemail. Well, as a nice, patient person, you would be.
But, think about it--you had to threaten taking your money back before you even got any sort of response from him!
That's horrible.
And as far as "rushing Mother Nature," erm, what the heck does Mother Nature have to do with digital cameras?!
Most good breeders have pics of the pups from birth, and at each week of growth thereafter, all the way up til the pup goes to you.
And--seriously, yikes--the comments I've been seeing on the von Ryan pups' temperaments--geez louise, a male Dobe pup is about ten handfuls to raise, even if it's of good temperament. Please don't set yourself up for failure! You think you feel bad now--get a pup, get attached, get overwhelmed...it's not a nice scenario.
I understand having the "wants" BAD for your new puppy, but perhaps use your nice patience to wait on a better puppy from a better breeder, rather than using it for this fella who seems not to give a crap about you or how this is affecting you.
