| Suzuki I urge you to check out Doberman Pinscher SOS. DobieSOS.org. It is a rescue here in southern California that does an amazing job of rehoming Dobies. Not only have I gotten both of my Dobermans from this organization I help train the rescues in basic obedience. They are based out of Tehachapi and the president Susan works hard to ensure owners and Dobermans are a perfect match. There are young dogs that have had a very rough start and all they want is someone to love them. |

| What's their budget?
If you go to DR website, most dogs listed there go for average 2500-3000 Euro. The prettier the more expensive. And then add shipping charges to that too. Are they willing to spend that much?

| They might go here Breeder Referral - Official DPCA Breeder Referral Directory call some of the breeders around their area and at least get their name out there as to what they prefer or might be willing to take. Word tends to spread among breeders and if they get their name out there something might come up. I would research the breeder before taking a dog tho as all breeders listed with the DPCA are not necessarily good breeders. |

They come along occasionally-a dog might wash out of the show ring, one might be returned by a puppy buyer, etc. But you never know when or where dogs like this will pop up. It's frequently a case of being in the right place at the right time.
Probably the best thing to do would be to use the DPCA breeder referral list and start getting the word out to breeders about what you're looking for. Then it would become a process of waiting.
