I certainly will take pictures, for sure!! And I plan this time on buying a show catalog so I know who/what dog I am looking at and the breeders names.
Dog shows are so different than when I use to show my cats. So I was rather confused while there trying to figure out how things are run...but I have a stack of books from the library that have helped me sort things through. I even managed to find a book on Dobermans that is AKC approved.

I did take pictures at this show but wan't able to get the Dobes because I was to busy talking to the breeders. :-)

Maybe you are thinking Balmoral??? Thats horse racing...horses are another of my loves...
