And this posted on their puppy page....what other kind of successful breeding would it be between? I mean I guess there could be frozen or AI...but besides that I don't think it necessary to say it was between (male) and (female).

Wow, I think these are pretty harsh reactions.

I agree the photos are not the greatest, I can't really see enough about the dogs to comment though. However, Gemini is an excellent dog and does indeed produce great conformation and working ability. I have an excellent bitch out of him. Sad that he has been sold so many times. I'd take him in a heartbeat just to have him around and let him live out his old age. Yes, he has longevity too.

Gemini is a Champion of many countries and it is well deserved. Though I didn't pay attention to the females titles, there are other countries that dogs show in besides the U.S. and Canada and I believe what they are saying is that the dogs are titled in those countries.

I see the name of the kennel is "KING" I don't see where they are advertising king dobermans.

The litter advertisement mentioned looks to me like a blank format for when they have a litter. Not that they are advertising x and y pups out of no name parents.

I don't know anything about the breeder or his breeding practices, so won't speak to that.

yes King is the kennel name, registered with CKC, but I think it is very misleading, on purpose! the dogs they had at the sportsman were over the standard height, and as I said earlier very coarse looking, not to mention the temperment issues. We had no problems at our booth, very well behaved dobes despite the nasty boxers across from us, the behaviour of the dobes at the King booth. Glad to hear Gemini has been a good producer, but the pup I saw from them, didn't check the catalogue to see who he was out of, was far from good conformation material.

Agree, Gemini is an excellent dog. It's just the pics are distorted.

Although I can't say he is a good producer. IF you compare the number of litters he sired and the number of outstanding or even excellent dogs he produced - nah, can't say he is a prepotent stud dog.


As for Iva, she's got her flaws as well as her strengths. With the right male she can have nice and cute puppies, don't expect show stars there. I just don't think Gemini is the one for her.

WHat I didn't like is all those "we are the best"... " we are the top"... blah-blah... Go and show, go and train - prove it! Just as well I can say I am Einstein...
