Hi. If anyone can help me - we are in PA & looking for a pet quality doberman puppy. Male is our choice and we'd like black/rust or blue.

Thank you. | Try starting here, at the DPCA list ---> Breeder Referral - Official DPCA Breeder Referral Directory
Write a nice email about yourself, what you are looking for and send it to the breeders that are closest to you, or just call them. I sent an email to just about everyone on the list from Pa, then waited to hear back from them. I had many a pleasant conversation with some of the folks on there. You may find you need to broaden your area though (like we did) to find someone who is having puppies or is expecting to breed soon. Hope that helps!

| Look, I find it better to wait for a breeder than to just go for the first pup you see. Going through the AKC or the DPCA is also a good idea. | |

| Pat Reinhart, Shadeko Dobermans. She is expecting a litter on the 20th of this month, all black and tans. I know because I'm getting one from her!
She's been breeding for 17 years now I believe. This will be her last litter for a while but she might not sale to you as she mostly wants people that will show her dogs. Google Shadeko, she is great!!!

Well, who's to say that she'll get a litter full of show quality pups? I'd say give her a ring...
Pat is a really really nice person and even if she doesn't have what you are looking for, I couldn't imagine that she wouldn't help you in some way.
