If anyone knows of someone or breeder who has puppies for sale (pet quality) - please let me know.
We are looking for a male - black/rust or blue in color.
I would rescue one but my husband is just very very leary as we have an 11 year old son and he would rather the pup grow up with my son so they can "bond".........
We've had small dogs and I've ALWAYS and FOREVER wanted a doberman. I'm finally getting one!!!!!!
Thank you, | What area do you live? PA? |

You have insulted me for my beliefs, called me ignorant, and tried to start fights...well I am just not taking the bait anymore. You have your opinion, and I have mine. And I have no trouble sleeping at night, and wish you the same. |

| Thats right everyone, The ads in referenced are from another source that is paying the site. DT has really no control over them. A lot of them are subject based,so when key words are used in post/threads, ads related to those pop up. I really do not like the ads myself, but this necessary evil does keep DT running. The only ads I really pay attention too are the ones from members that uses certain products/services and are happy with them.

| I'm late to this thread and maybe this is off topic, but I couldn't help but go to the Kimbertal website. I see they take major credit cards. I have suggestion for improvement in the e-commerce spirit of running a business moving puppies.. on the puppies for sale page, they should add a "Add to Shopping Cart" button by each puppy so as potential buyers scroll through, they can simply click Add to Shopping Cart, then be directed to a CheckOut page where they can review their selections before purchasing. Then, if they really want to get their e-commerce act together, they can add an inventory control system that takes in the orders, flags inventory shortages and sends a notification to the production department to start producing more puppies to fill the orders. Now that would be a slick operation.

| | Big Dog | but seriously...what is the need for selling so many puppies other than profit? there are plenty of breeders out there doing it properly, and thousands of homeless dogs forced to stay in shelters because of the excess supply. get a real job. why doesn't doberkim shut down their costco dog operation and turn their wonderful facility into a DOG SHELTER!!!! undo all the damage you have done to your reputation and to the poor animals which you pump out like commodities. Kimbertal Rot/Dobe rescue, "undoing our disservice to the breed"
probably not profitable enough for the owners...

| LawMan, you really need to do some research yourself into the history of The Doberman Pinscher! Check out some of the ORIGINAL Standards!
National Doberman Pinscher club 1899.
Males: height, 21.6 to 25.6 inches
Females 18.9 to 21.6 inches
Not ever in the History of the Doberman Pinscher has the Standard accepted oversized dogs. Now or Then!
Yes there have always been different 'types', and there always will. But over size is not Doberman 'TYPE' and it never will be.
If you personally like bigger dogs, then find a breed that suits you. Do not make an existing breed into something that is not correct just to suit your wants. |

Thank you, | Glad to see you made it here - I'm pretty sure that I'm the one who sent you here. Make good use of the forum beyond just the Kimbertal info - this is a good site to learn on
I think you are on the right track for breeders, but feel free to ask about them on the forum - you don't have to just take my word for them.
