I'm sure I know why you're asking as that guy has contacted *everyone* trying to sell that dog.

Moonspier is a weird situation. They were Dyanne and Gerald Laplante and they were in Alberta, I believe. They transferred their kennel name over to Fabian Viani back in 2002ish if I'm remembering right, and I don't think the original people are active in Dobermans anymore. I tried to click on the Moonspier website yesterday and while I got the index page, I got nothing more. I haven't seen the new owner of the kennel name being active in Dobermans recently. I don't know if he is or not, and I don't know which Moonspier would have produced that dog, the retired ones or the one that took over.

Actually we had a fellow trying to surrender a dog to rescue and that's the breeder. I always try to contact the breeder so they can have first dibs on a dog they have bred and in reality, I don't like taking breeders dogs if I don't have to.
