I did not say that good breeders do not follow guidelines to get their puppies ready for the world, I was just wondering if they follow the rules of seven. I had never heard of it until I got my first American bred dog of working lines. Since then, I have found that all my friends with Border Collie pups they are training to run in agility use it religiously too.

And, I agree some things on the list are a little far out. For instance, I only fed in glass, metal, plastic and styrofoam, no frying pans, etc., and I fed my dogs inside, outside and various places in the house. In my opinion, this helps them to be relaxed and not concerned about eating when you travel.

Please don't make an argument where there is none. I wrote my opinion and did not post it to argue!

That's the thing, Rauschund, I'm not seeing an intelligent discussion, I'm seeing a lot of phony posturing and ego driven defensiveness. "Ripping the dog to shreds...the rest of us are just ignorant show people with inferior dogs"? Come now. That's a tad histrionic, don't you think? You'll have to quote me where I've said all of that about other people's dogs. The only real problem is that you don't agree with me and you don't like it. So instead of offering up a cogent debate, you just complain about how awful I'm being. Have you ever heard the axiom about taking offense versus finding offense?

I don't kow, you should tell me lol. The ones I know Miss Jakoso Agir, Cara's Top Shelf and Red Cara's Sasha are great dogs in my opinion.

Sorry, I shouldn't have said that, but that is how I feel. I am not an authority on this subject, but have watched otherrs trying to post just to have the know-it-all shoot them down. Actually i was quoting from a SCH trainer that is a friend of mine that I had forwarded these posts too.......let's face it, this guy is never going to unite with anybody but himself.
That said, sorry for the bad language.
