Second, no big breeder will sell you the pick of the litter. Very-very rare. Your Gloria is a great dog, beautiful and with a great temperament, and you've done a great job with her, but she is not the pick of the litter. The best two females stayed in Tahi Reme kennel and are used as brood bitches.
| Really? You should not assume that because a bitch stayed with Erika she was pick of the litter. Because we had a pick of 2 bitches at the time - Gloria or Giniti. We chose Gloria. Giniti stayed with Erika and her accomplishments speak for themselves. However, since she was willing to let Giniti go then that would either mean she was not pick of the litter or she was willing to let pick of the litter go to us. So your statement, in my case at least, doesn't necessarily hold true.
When visiting Erika this past Spring, she was very impressed with Gloria and said that had she lived in Europe, she would have had no problem winning everything over there. So obviously she liked the bitch very much.
I think it is very possible to get some of their "best" dogs depending upon the relationship you have established with the breeder, and their trust in you - which is a two way street.

Well, anyway, this guy is sick no matter what you say. 14 or 15 bitches ready to pop?! And you are talking about how awesome this guy is? Sick-sick-sick...

And I don't think his degree is of much help if he keeps breeding the same stud to the same bitches over and over again! Oh, what an accompishment!!!!

1. Many litters. $3000/pup?
2. He exaggerates a lot about how much money he spent on his dogs. Once I linked him to Ginga House kennel and he got a dog for $7300. Later on from somebody who got a pup from him, I learned that that dog cost as much as $15000.
3. Very bold on his website. He claims no cardio at all. Even if I bred for a hundred years, I still wouldn't say that.

4. And thank you a million for showing your commercial approach to the dog business.

Now, your talk about Sch-3 dogs reminds me of Hoytt's and Kimbertal's philosophy.

For me, being from Europe, 3-4 litters a year is not an issue. It becomes an issue when ia litter's commercially bred, overpriced or poorly bred.

My main issue with Familydobes is that he claims his dogs are the best in the US. It's in every ad of his. That's it.

Oh, no, I don't think he is disreputable
| Huh???
