Anyone heard of "World Class Doberman...."

They seem like a BYB with a fancy website. I think they advertise int. Ch bloodlines, meaning somewhere in the dogs pedigree there is a champion, but the dogs they are breeding have no titles. Also, they sell their puppies at a ridiculous price and prey on the stupid who are easily fooled by their marketing ploys. I hardly doubt they do any health testing either.

well, no, I've never heard of them, but looking through the website, they throw a lot of German words around, drop some German names that sound impressive - would make the casual buyer think, gee, this is something. At those prices, I'd peel the onion waaay back and make them prove the worth and challenge their bloodline claims and ask why, if they have these wonderful bloodlines, haven't they titeld any dogs in the US? You'd think the US circuits would be dominated by WCDP dogs the way the website reads. Most breeders/kennels that know what they are doing use a kennel name - is "World Class" their kennel? Hey, who did you get your dog from? Got him from "World Class". Doesn't everyone wish they produced world class dogs? what is world class? is there a world title to establish world class? kinda like US Baseball having the "World Series" with only US teams competing for it or caring about it. Anyway...

UGH! Nothing bothers me more about these websites than picture spreads of Dobermans that were looked up and linked using Google Images.

That front shot of the red Dobe with the brick wall background is from Garrett's Doberman Site, and 2 more of the images are in the Top 3 when you search "Doberman" through Google Images.

"World Class?" IMHO, it's more appropriately, NO CLASS.

ETA - And prices like those make me want to cry. $2500 for a "World Class International Champion Bloodline Puppy" + another $500 for an ear crop. ~gag~

ETA - And one last thing - they're asking $3500 for a blue, fawn, or albino. So that would be $4000 with the ear crop. Yikes.

I could not make myself wade through that site - I looked at about 2 pages of absolute garbage and that was enough.

All I can say is that there are people out there that are ignorent enough to be fooled by it, but I would hope to God that most people would be intellegent enough to see through to the fact that it is garbage.

That made me want to vomit. Rare white tiger gene? Huh? They are charging double for a puppy with a teeny white spot on it's chest? He will be feared and have the spirit of the white tiger? What are these people smoking?
Who would fall for something so far out there? blows my little mind.
