I have no personal experience with this breeder but often see her recommended by people in the sport. Going by her website and hearsay alone, it seems to me that she is super interested in preserving working ability and correct breed temperament in the breed. Though I agree that titling is preferred, as it is veryfiable proof that a dog has been tested, I wouldn't scratch her of my list of working dog breeders.
From her breeding page:
"There are many ways to test working character. There are many forms of personal protection work/testing (including suit, hidden sleeve, muzzle work and subjecting the dog to various challenges) that provide more demanding testing that is not repetitive and therefore, can be more revealing.
Although I no longer work my dobermann in schutzhund, I DO test and work them (including bitework - personal protection)"
If strong character & workability are important to the OP, I suggest he contact Deana and question her further.
