A Dobe, Dane, GSD, Rot Mix Puppy !!!!!!!!!!

I Met one person who is a breeder here in india,

he has got variety of dogs and he loves them for sure,

he was saying to me he is going to breed a DOBE, DANE, GSD, ROT mix puppy,

when i asked how he said,

its a long term plan, where he wants to cross a dobe with a dane and then those pups (once grown) with GSD and likewise the resulting pups(once grown

) with Rots,

i would like to know from people here if thats possible?????

BTW... i know dobe was a mix of other breeds, but is that possible and would be wise?

It's possible, yes. But IMHO, they're just going to look like... shaggy mutts.

There are 1000's of dogs like this in shelters all over the place.

The Canis Panther is a combination of Doberman, Great Dane, Black Lab, and American Pit Bull Terrier. Although I'm not sure the proportions. This is not a recognized breed, but I do find them attractive.

But these breeds are somewhat similar type - all have drop ears, 3 of the 4 have VERY short hair and Labs have quite short hair. When you start mixing this and that (example - a GSD has prick ears and sometimes LONG hair) you really take away from all the other nice things in the other breeds... just my opinion.

I don't have anything against mix breed dogs, but I would hope that if someone is setting out to produce them, they would have some VERY solid reasoning for producing more puppies, that are essentially, mutts.

you are quite right, he is quite a crazy man i have seen, who is just crazy for dogs and he has got more than 130 dogs in his farm, i was stunned to see them, he is not a seller i can assure

i remember him breeding a mix of dobe, rajapalayam and chippiparai the later two being indian breed.

they looked awesome, i am trying to get a pic of them

I LOVE the hounds, especially the rajapalayam. Beautiful hounds. Are they ancient breeds?

yes, they were bred for hunting and protection, they were bred by a community and that community made sure no one else had these breeds, they are such great hunters and very much protective of their family,

He is a hoarder. It is a disorder some people have. He needs help.

A mutt is a mutt is a mutt. Anything is possible....but definitely not wise! Definitley different body frames, and I may be wrong but I believe the life expectancy of a Dane is quite a bit shorter.
