We use plastic bags from the stores. I save them all, especially the produce ones.
Who is the designated pooper picker upper? (You, designated spouse, children, third-party vendor)
I do mostly, but but hubby helps too.
How often do you pick-up poop? (daily, weekly, monthly) What is the weight per volume do you estimate you remove?
In our back yard we pick it up about every other day, I would guess we could fill a kitchen-size trash can in a months time.
Do you inspect the poop for proper digestion of food or other reasons?
My first concern is to notice if and how many times they've even gone. (in case I have to go out at least I know they're alright to stay in the house) I do give it a glance when picking it up to make sure its normal.
Does your dog only use one specific area or is the whole yard used?
They can go where they like in the yard.
What technique or methods do you use to prevent lawn damage?
One of ours prefers the pavement, the other, well we just have to be quick so as not to effect the lawn.
Do your local ordinances specify specific requirements to dispose of the dog waste?
We have dog bins provided throughout our neighborhood that we use regularly. |
